She got tired of not being able to capitalise on her body?
All this guff about her issues, but really its just money?
Bit sad.
What's weird to me about that sentence is that she's tired of not being able to /capitalize/ on her body.
Getting paid to use her body.
Implying that her body has been used in a non-monetary way, until she seemed to say "fuck it" and trying to own it.
Yeah but I mean it's still not accepted in the way that, for example, a man tells his wife "hey i"ll be right back, i'm going to watch some p*rn" and maybe those sickos want to normalize it in a way that it will be accepted
From my personal experience, I always watched porn with my boyfriends when we wanted to watch something hot during foreplay.
I'd even go as far as saying that I probably watched more porn than my boyfriends, and they absolutely knew it.
I think the younger Millenials and older Gen Z are pretty normalized when it comes to porn, which would be the exact age range of his daughter.
I don't think men need to tell their wives "I'll be back, gonna go jack off" when more couples are saying "Let's look through pornhub together". Maybe for Gen X and Boomers, but porn is becoming less of a secret and less of a shame.
And personally, I don't see anything wrong with couples watching porn together, and that being normal. It'd feel worse knowing that my partner didn't trust me to be sexually open in front of me, and feeling like they have to hide their desires.
