Exactly. The oppressed have become the oppressors. It's highly hypocritical, and not needed. I can't stand how they are called terfs for that. We want to have protection and not have to worry about men in our bathrooms. There should not be anything wrong with that, but like you said, so many are afraid to be called bigots so they don't say anything. It's become the word of the century, it seems. I personally don't see being called a "bigot" as a negative thing, because being one just means that you're intolerant towards certain behavior, which certainly isn't a bad thing.

In the UK a woman was denied an operation due to being labelled one because she wanted a female medical staff to assist her with personal care.

Yeah, I see exactly what you mean. It's almost like they are making it a full out trend to be into the lgbt community. Kids at school now probably feel that being straight is too standard and boring, just like the boring flag colours.
Being gay/lesbian/trans is becoming way too popular. So many don't realize how that most who become gay do so because of a traumatic experience as a child or some other event that's not exactly fun. And the propaganda shown in schools and media is NOT helping. Why would anyone want to make something like this so cool? Just takes away from the suffering that these people actually have to go through, sometimes.
And if someone wants to become trans, there's always a mental issue behind that. Sad that this gets so fetishized. How sick!
