mindinao gum tree is the normal name. its from the philippines-- the only one of the eucalyptus genus in the northern hemisphere. they started selling seeds on ebay with clickbait photos and i think it was popularized that way. i had a skinny one growing about 16 feet tall but then it suddenly died.
the trunk does look like that, though.
