It's strange because on the outside, Spongebob seems very innocent and friendly, but it seems to suffer from so many other forms of kids media that has freaky elements. Also where they live is called Bikini Bottom? Yikes

I did when I was little. The music was also creepy at times. There a TV Tropes trope called Nightmare Fuel. It's not surprising Spongebob has a page describing the horrific scenes.

There was in episode in the later seasons about Squidward joined a secret society.

I would say disney in general. Even before the obvious blatant woke stuff. Most of the movies don't feature the main character having a mother, either no maternal figure at all or a wicked stepmother character. Perhaps this wouldnt affect the average little girl, but for me with having a rough relationship with my mother i have wondered how much the programming played a role in it.

Besides the absent mother issues, another thing was the rebellion and disobedience towards the father figure. These movies just in general are not good for children, without even having to take into account any subliminals or more recent woke stuff.

I recommend GIJoe True American Hero cartoons. Lot of weird plots in those. I think even Vigilant Citizen did an article about them.

Yeah, sadly I can see that being a thing. That's just disturbing and disgusting. Wish they could keep this filth out of our entertaiment!
And as Minnie was asking about Japanese anime, yeah, most of the time that stuff is filled with nonsense. Sexuality and occultism. This stuff is also addressed in the 'why is anime so perverted?' thread. There's much discussion on there. And yeah, it's VERY disturbing stuff, one of the worst genres for this.

The movie is called Monsters vs Aliens. It's a Dreamworks film from 2009. The plot was about scientists and the government testing on monsters and aliens. It's a homage to the films from the 1950s and 60s.

Exactly!! Why even put her in that at all? So horrible. It does seem pretty yuck. It's sad how most will love the show and not see it for what it is.
