Dog's in Islam

It is common knowledge dogs are not allowed inside in a Muslim home due to being unclean, such as dragging their rears across the carpet to scratch themselves spreading feces.

But there is nothing wrong with having a dog that is kept outside.

Anyway, i remember about a year ago @Red Sky at Morning made a comment showing how the prophet of Islam (saw) said to kill dogs. I remember his screenshot showing he specifically searched for "black dogs".

It is common knowledge in Islam that djinn / demons like to take on the forms of black dogs / black snakes.

Anyway, i seen a video and thought it was interesting. It shows several mass murders like David Berkowitz, the "son of Sam", who claimed dogs told them to kill.




Its about 5 minutes long for those with attention spans like me.

Edit : For the haters, this does not mean every black dog is a demon. But knowing the people here. I'm sure more then a few will say i am claiming that.

Logic just goes out the window at VC sometimes for little to no reason.

Also what about seeing eye dogs? Would Sharia law prevent blind people from having dogs in their house? In English dog spelled backwards is God. Just curious what dogs are called in Arabic and what it spells backwards. I remember seeing some videos about how dogs can smell diseases and prevent them from getting worse.

Actually cats are very clean animals, they constantly clean themselves. You will find them walking into mosques with no issue.

Its been so long this might have been comedy central, I really don't remember. Whoever had Adult Swim.

But my point is they used to have this show called "pickles". It was about a demonic dog.


Makes you wonder where they got the idea from?

It was not my intention to paint dogs as evil with this thread anyway. I just thought the video and the concept behind it was interesting.
Especially when there are people who think Muslims are anti-dog like Red.

Speaking of old cartoons i was kinda surprised that alot of the cartoons i grew up with were really old. Bugs bunny, Tom and Jerry. I watched them in the 80's but the episodes were actually from the 50's. I didn't learn this until recently.

Odysee has started censoring movies and sitcoms but some remain, sometimes with the year attached to the episode.

I was surprised to see how old these cartoons really were.

Like this playlist on Odysee. 1940's.. I had no idea Tom and Jerry was so old.

I absolutely DETEST canines of any kind. IMHO they are useless feces machines. I doubly detest the people who BREED these useless animals for whatever little profit they may bring. Several backyard breeding operations sprang up in our neighborhood during the "scamdemic". One such "zoo" regularly LET their canines escape their back yard to roam the streets. Thankfully our city's animal control is very good. They rounded up the beasts and took them away. It took several phone calls, but when I warned the officers that the next time one of those things appeared in my yard, my .38 would take care of it, and they'd only need to haul away the carcass. The entire species could go extinct tomorrow and I would applaud.

I am aware of the story, it is well known. The dog that guarded the boys that slept for 300 years running from a tyrant king.
But i don't know what happened to the dog. Never heard anything like the dog talking either.
