Still.. it's a good question because we've all noticed it and its weirdness.

But really, it's kind of like.. if you are looking for a white car, because that is what your friend is driving to meet you, you're going to notice all the white cars that never even registered on your radar, before.

There's nothing holy in it. Not in my opinion, anyway.

The thing about the white cars you are right XD
I think it's like selective programming in some sort (you brain is conditioning itself to only focus on one thing and only that )
