"Why is the military industrial complex booming, even as America suffers? Because Washington has made it a priority to radically overhaul the military in double quick time, designating weapons manufacturers as “essential” services during a pandemic, ensuring they all have enough boots on the ground to continue working through the outbreak.

In February, the Pentagon released its $705 billion budget request for 2021, where it revealed that it would be ramping up for war with China and Russia in the near future. In its own words, there would be a “shifting focus from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and a greater emphasis on the types of weapons that could be used to confront nuclear giants like Russia and China.” It also stated that it was going to acquire “more advanced high-end weapon systems, which provide increased standoff, enhanced lethality, and autonomous targeting for employment against near-peer threats in a more contested environment.” Last month, the Air Force commissioned Raytheon to develop and build a new nuclear cruise missile."

It's like they released a new lexicon of terms and phrases, and by just repeating them "ad nauseam" they magically become part of our venacular. I guess that's how all good propaganda works.

I went to the dentist today. I had to wait in my car and call them from there. When they were ready they came to my car with a mask and face shield and their hair was covered while wearing gloves and those protective gowns. I had to sign something that said I wasn’t sick and get my temperature taken plus use the hand sanitizer..just for them to work on my tooth, which meant I had to unmask and open my mouth. It was pretty damn dumb if you ask me. She said I had to wear the mask to walk through to the room she took me.

Then after they finished she took me back to the entrance where there was plexiglass up but the receptionist didn’t wear gloves and took my cc to use as payment, gave it back with my receipt...pathetic.

I had the a similar experience at the Vet. All these people outside in their cars, waiting to get their dogs with large taped off areas and make shift sign in area with the hand sanitizer. You could tell the staff were really working hard to make it work. It really made their job a lot harder.
