Bats are crucial to our survival, without them, Mankind would die out very quickly. They are also amazingly smart and loving creatures. The danger is in the spread of bacterial pathogens, not viruses. It takes over 800 years for a viral pathogen to make the leap from animals to humans. A bat is a mammal, just to remind those of you who forgot that. Deadly Bacteria is all over you, right now, as are fungi and viruses. They are part of life. They took a truth and twisted it, this is what they do. That is not Science, that is deception.
