HILL: Yes. There are many threats to elections, but this is one that's underappreciated.

DETROW: What got you thinking about this?

HILL: Watching what was happening in the news and appreciating that climate change makes wildfires worse, flooding worse, sea level rise - all of those things affect the ability of people to move, including to get to their polls and have their ballots counted.

DETROW: So you're arguing that extreme weather is a threat to democracy. I mean, those are pretty strong words. Can you explain what you're thinking?

HILL: When you step back and appreciate democracy, what is at its core? It's the right to vote. That's the most fundamental right each of us have in a democracy. If you can't cast a ballot and have that ballot be counted, you're disenfranchised. Climate change disenfranchises voters.

The Kenyan capital of Nairobi [has] descended into violence and mayhem as large street protests by Kenyans outraged at new tax policies and a harsh 'Eco-Austerity' program imposed by the government have resulted in the parliament building being set on fire.

The stringent Eco Levy especially impacts those who intend to import plastics into the Kenyan market, imposing a hefty fee per kilo on the products.

Denmark will tax livestock farmers for the greenhouse gases emitted by their cows, sheep and pigs from 2030, the first country in the world to do so as it targets a major source of methane emissions, one of the most potent gases contributing to global warming.

The aim is to reduce Danish greenhouse gas emissions by 70% from 1990 levels by 2030, said Taxation Minister Jeppe Bruus.

As of 2030, Danish livestock farmers will be taxed $43 per ton of carbon dioxide equivalent in 2030. The tax will increase to $108 by 2035. However, because of an income tax deduction of 60%, the actual cost per ton will start at $17.3 and increase to $28 by 2035.

Charge per Mile schemes

It’s bad enough cars are all basically equipped with GPS homing devices – and some now even with driver-facing cameras that can monitor you while you drive – but now some vehicles in Britain are being equipped with “speed limiters”.
Starting Sunday, July 7, 2024, all new vehicles in the EU must be equipped with Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) systems due to a new safety regulation, according to the Daily Mail.

Although this law doesn’t apply in Britain, most vehicles sold in the UK will still have the speed-limiting technology installed by manufacturers.

“I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed...You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed – and I have worked on it – that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.”

Running damage control, the Harris campaign claimed after the interview that she "does not" support the Green New Deal. Except, she just said that her "values have not changed" in reference to the Green New Deal. The 'Inflation Reduction Act' was a Trojan horse, and it's only the beginning if Harris becomes president.

In order “to change consumer behavior, reduce meat consumption or optimize and expand protein plant breeding,” the Club of Rome suggest that governments use coercive taxation measures and implement a “supply chain law for agricultural products” to make life difficult for those who do not comply.

Some of the tax measures include:

  • Reduction of the reduced VAT rate for meat and sausage products and dairy products with socially acceptable compensation payments
  • Higher taxation of processed (fatty, sugary and animal-based) foods
  • Taxation of foods and food ingredients that are harmful to health, the environment and the climate

While the proposals to limit meat consumption are geared towards Austria, they also reflect the overall strategy to incentivize, coerce, or otherwise manipulate human behavior into serving an unelected globalist agenda.

The same goes for the Club of Rome’s socialist vision for the redistribution of wealth.
