Hello friend~
I was writing a question about if we are pre chosen. Our fate…
since it’s truth that we either go to Heaven or Hell are those who get to go to Heaven pre chosen?

Imagine literally being one of those who gets their life sealed in Heaven for all eternity…just wow, it sounds amazing. Lol
But someone already has a thread called Once Savd always saved which covers this topic basically lol

Greetings and good wishes.

It's an interesting subject to ponder, and one often debated, as some feel the 144,000 that are redeemed from the Earth is predeterminism and others recognize the role of free will in every provided setting.

The difficulty with the concept of being "pre-chosen" is that none of us know if we are among those who are redeemed, or among those destined to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire. We don't get to judge our own performance; that's Christ's assigned duty (John 5:22). That humbling thought should provide the inspiration to strive for perfection (Matt. 5:48), and will do exactly that in those who are determined to learn to do Father's Will.

Thank you for replying I agree with everything you’ve said
I just think it’s so fascinating that people will go to heaven. Like you said, we don’t even know what judgement we will receive. Even the 144,000, like, who are they?? Lol the intricacies are..just something I think about
And when the time comes & our fate is revealed to us, those who go to heaven it’s like…You did everything you were suppose to in Jesus’ eyes with the time you were given & it’s really special that we are invited to spend eternity with God & you ended up being someone, who in spirit & truth accepts….
Thank God I’m not an atheist

might delete/I'm bored at work so I'm gonna ramble.
Do you come to the conclusion that the Bible is the truth on your own? or It is the Holy Spirit that makes you receptive to the words of the Bible?

A lot of people have a hard time accepting life isn't just some random event happening in the history of existence. That The Bible is a history book that describes our relationship with our Holy Creator, it's relevant to the past, present and future. It's not even remotely hard to conclude The Bible being the truth.

But then why can some people easily digest that truth and others cannot? some are born into other beliefs or do not accept it right away and end up coming to the truth of The Bible & accepting it later in life.

Even Jesus being our savior which is the ultimate determination between where every soul will spend eternity only a few are receptive to that truth.
And just in case any one wants to refute Jesus being a determining factor at the very .000001% chance and even smaller chance that you're right there's no penalty for believing in Jesus. But there is for those who don't.

God pursues us right? are we ultimately chosen then?

seriously, take all the people on this forum who can easily see through the obvious deception that other people struggle to understand and come to terms with. Sure, some "conspiracies" might be out of pocket but if you're not aware that we are under deception by now it's like....really?
and I'm not even talking about willingly ignorant people who don't even want to know, I'm talking about good people sensible who you can explain it to, evidence and all and it's still not clicking.

*IF* The Bible turns out to be false and the fate of our world ends up in some other belief system, that maybe we're not even aware of then why were those people receptive to that while others weren't? and vice versa. This is just a question.

This is like my biggest question to God would he say you chose him first? or that he chose you??

Good question... easy one, too.

He chose us.
No one can know Christ unless he or she is drawn to Him by God. John 6:44, iirc...

There is a lot behind the word "draw" in the original Greek.

I drag, draw, pull, persuade, unsheathe
.
1670 helkýō
properly, induce (draw in), focusing on the attraction-power involved with the drawing.

Seems very similar to "woo."
to seek the favor, affection, or love of, especially with a view to marriage.
It is John 6:44

☺

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus' name

His oath, His covenant, His blood
Support me in the whelming flood
When all around my soul gives way
He then is all my hope and stay

When He shall come with trumpet sound
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless to stand before the throne

On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand

Love this hymn.

Read the fine print. You can get kicked out of heaven. Heaven is in your mind.
How am I going to get kicked out of my own MIND?. You people literally make no damn sense anytime Jesus is mentioned.

Don’t you have a thread on the synagogue of Satan to foam at the mouth to or something
