V’s new teaser totally caught me off guard. It’s giving Blood Sweat & Tears vibes with all the clear symbolism, and it feels so different from what he’s been putting out lately. I heard most of this might’ve been filmed two years ago—why do you think he’s choosing to release it now? What’s the meaning behind it?
things highlighted in the teaser:

mirror:
-breaking of the mirror=destruction/blurring/vanishing of the lines between the dimensions/thru the looking glass

-mind also = glass of water. water=consciousness/mind. mirrors signal frozen time. reflection. they are like frozen water. icy lake. crystals shiny light in the darkness. tae is also symbolic to the moon because he is associated with the bear. we have shadow moon as well (shadow behind him) which is lilith the dark moon/black moon.
sculpting of statues/molding. i suppose the statue is of him. every scratch he puts into is not about the sculpting more like the scars/pain/trauma.
this is also code for a vinyl record. a persons life is like a musical album with different styles of the music on it depending on the experiences they have been thru.
but the sculpture might also be that of a woman which would be code MUSE. death of the muse.
