The album Aqualung by Jethro Tull is interesting for its viewpoints on the hypocrisy of religion. Some people misinterpreted it as an attack on Christianity but I see it more as an attack on the commercialism of Jesus and fake churches.

Why even would God, not alone "destroy" monotheistic religion, which is a community pointing their worship to God, but destroy at all?

There are no "monotheistic" religions, nor do any religions actually teach the doing of God's Will (Matt. 6:9-13).

Perhaps simpler yet is the message that ALL of those who have come before Christ's Promised Second-Coming before Judgment Day, have been thieves and robbers (John 10:1-18). And all of those who are meant to find The Sun of Righteousness (Mal. 4:2) during His Second Coming will do so (Matt. 11:27-28), because they pay no mind to the wolves in sheep's clothing.

The simple truth is that anyone who isn't keeping The Law/Commandments of God, while claiming to know Christ, the Saviour, is a LIAR, i.e. the truth is NOT in them.
