Let's have a fun discussion as Halloween draws close.

When my little brother and I were kids, we were horsing around in the attic of our mom's church. This was an old church, built in 1765. There were soldiers from the American Revolution buried in the churchyard. It was at night, and mom was socializing with a few other women, and there was virtually no one in the church. Well, my brother and I were in the Sunday school rooms that had no lights on. We were in one of them when we heard a blood-curdling scream come from the other one. Now, we had just been in that room and there was no one there, so we booked it. It was a man's voice as well, and the only people left there were women. I still have no idea whose voice that was. The church is over 250 years old, and it has seen some ugly moments over the years. I do know one person was killed there in living memory, let alone what must have happened back in the day.

If you have any spooky stories to share, please do. I love reading them.

My Father was a HAM and a DX buff and our house was all kinds of wires and antennas (and also well grounded). Dad had probably a dozen lightning rods all around, and when a storm rolled past, watch out brother.

Some years after he passed on, a big storm rolled through. The house or nearby was struck, and I witnessed Ball Lightning rolling around in the walls. I could see the lightning passing through the walls.

Turns out the big tree outside my bedroom window had been struck. Not paranormal, but plenty enough normal for me. I suppose the bolt was just meandering around looking for ground.

Aw HATES lightning. I have a truly dread of being struck.

a man murdered at church? Omg
after watching too many horror movies I could guess probably the woman held hostage a man inside there or someone tried to prank u guys with that scream?

I think i have a couple of encounters
but none like my brother and mom, they legit saw a ghost like 2 times, one time when my brother was like 7 years old and my mom was young, they went to get pizza nearby and a lady wanted a ride (it was at night) they came freaked out i’ve never seen/heard them so freak out, they just kept repeating what happened in obvious state of shock so I knew something legit wrong had happened, they said the lady didn’t say a word while in the ride and the temperature changed but didn’t think any of it, they say she was weird, couldn’t see her face or emotions and that when she got out of the car, they both witnessed the exact same thing: She VANISHED! They both got eagle eyes, when they both say she vanished. SHE VANISHED. They said there was nobody around when the door opened, and nobody was ever there (when she exited the car) I could add more details but it would just make this a bit more spooky and that’s irrelevant

my story when i was a child
i got hit by a car
leaving school, the front store saw everything, the owner, she saw angels carrying me from the air to the ground
she was shocked and i don’t think she was a religious person until then

pre-plandemic when i was a bit… naive
i went to a street in the middle of the nigh it had only one way in and one way out, and the other side had a dead end and nobody was there except a tree log, me and my friend were there to have ”fun” with perfect strangers and there was nobody else there and u could scream for help and there were just woods, u can say nobody could hear u or “reach u”. So these strangers get out of the car, we realize they had no “intention” to have “fun” and we realize we have no scape because we have approached their vehicle and were already far from ours and i prayed and God had mercy and out of nowhere from the dead end a police vehicle appears and i’ve never seen cops there, I’ve been to that place many times and never ever had a cop appeared, nor any vehicle has appeared or entered through the DEAD END meaning the only access to enter or leave was the other way around, which was opposite to where they appeared and entered!!!

i think i have a few more but maybe i share another time

I've had half a dozen or so of dealings with the unseen.

While this was 5–7 years ago, it's the most recent. I was walking home at night and cut through a park and seen a bright light on the ground. Almost glowing, lighting up a small area. Probably 8-10 feet off of the sidewalk.
I thought it was a cellphone and went to pick it up. When I got about a foot away, I got this really strange feeling and got freaked out. I did the only thing I could think of, turned around and quickly walked away. I didn't want to mess with it. Today I know it was a djinn.

People call them "orbs" today, but it's always djinn. Of course, they don't have to appear as orbs. As they frequently show up as black dogs and snakes, but if you see orbs, it's jinn.

A lot of people have stories mentioning these. Here's one example, but you can find others everywhere.

We are surrounded by jinn, they actually outnumber mankind. But we can't see them unless they want to be seen.
A good jinn doesn't want anything to do with you. So you'll never see it.

Ones you can see have ill intent. I thought this google explanation was… Interesting. As it's literally disinfo and the opposite is the actual truth.

1729900275162.png

These orbs are showing themselves for a reason, and it's not "angelic" or "purity". (not my highlighting, btw). But google wants you to know that. So you can feel comforted by the devil.

There were soldiers from the American Revolution buried in the churchyard.
Goes without saying, but the dead are severed from this world. They "live" in another realm, waiting for judgement day. Every "ghost" we see is always a djinn looking to deceive others. Even those people who have claimed to see dead loved ones, it's always djinn.

When death approaches any of them, they cry, “My Lord! Let me go back, so I may do good in what I left behind.”
Never! It is only a ˹useless˺ appeal they make.
And there is a barrier behind them until the Day they are resurrected.
(Quran 23: 99-100)

Many believe in having contact with past loved ones, but the devil has always been a deceiver.

Sorry if this is a downer on your thread. It's just the reality, is all.

I do find "Scary" stories interesting. I'm just not coming from the pov of an atheist. Amongst all the unseen occurrences, imho mimics are probably the most freaky. This is a djinn using a child's voice, friend, spouse, often someone you know.

But the protection is simple. The devil does not enter the house where surah Baqarah is read. If you have problems with the unseen at home, this is your answer. Set it on repeat and let it play. Whether you believe or not is irrelevant, the devil will not linger to listen.

FALSE ARRIVAL by Clout
One Saturday afternoon in the 1970's when i was in my 20's i was home alone while the rest of the family were out shopping in town, and i spent the time up in my room building a plastic model ship.
Around teatime i heard voices in the street outside that sounded like the family returning, then i heard our front gate unlatch, then i heard the key go in the front door, then heard their voices and footsteps come into the hallway.
Then there was dead silence.
I went downstairs to greet them but there was nobody there, i looked in the living room, kitchen, even the garden and garden shed, but nothing, they were nowhere to be seen.
I assumed they must have gone out to do a bit more shopping up the road , so i went back up to carry on with my ship.
After about an hour they came back and i asked my mother if they'd arrived earlier and gone back out again, but she said no, and hadn't a clue what i was talking about.
So i just put the earlier arrival down to a trick of the mind or a "waking dream" or whatever, and felt fascinated and privileged to have experienced it.
A few years later i happened to learn from a paranormal book that the phenomenon is fairly common, and is called "False Arrival", where somebody hears one or more friends or family members come into the house, followed by silence.

And a true TV programme about the paranormal covered a 'false arrival' experienced by the manager of a small engineering firm who was working late on his own late one night doing the accounts in the old control tower on a disused airfield where his firm was renting some hangars , when he heard footsteps plodding up the stone stairs and stop outside his door.
After a short silence he impatiently called out "Well come on in then!", but nobody did. He went and opened the door but there was nobody there.

Here's a theory I've developed-
We're all born with a "psychic shield" or "force field" or "buffer" around our brains to protect it from demons and other assorted supernatural phenomena.
But if we're engaged in doing something that requires a lot of mental concentration, like me building that fiddly model ship, and the manager concentrating on his accounts, our "shield" is weakened because we're draining power from it to concentrate on tasks that require a heavy mental workload.
Hence, both of us experienced false arrivals or "visitations" by something.
Maybe that's why the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments, meant as a rest day for us to relax and let our spiritual batteries automatically recharge?

PS- below is a modern view of the house (red circle) and my bedroom (yellow circle) where I was building the model, we left there in the early 1980's, I dunno who lives there now, but I see they've removed the front gate for some reason-

Very recently a month ago (So september) I was in a room, and suddenly I heard this person breathing very clearly, while said person itself was downstairs.

...

Yes, I know very boring and not as "Wow what a incredible, detailed creepy and chilling paranormal story."

And that was all. Nothing else happen. Well, of course sometime weird things happen, among the deja vue feelings (repetitions of scenes, and conversations or even whole days, etc etc it's complicated to explain if you don't live it yourself, in plus of people saying "No we didn't do/say this before/I didn't had this exact same conversation before") while I'm sorry, yes you clearly did have, but don't remember, but nothing mysterious enough to post to a paranormal forum.

When I was 17 I was going through a rough time at home. I ended up moving in with my boyfriend's family for about a year. They were devout Christians so they weren't having any funny business like me sleeping in the room with my boyfriend. I slept in his 10 year old sister's room on the bottom bunk and she had the top. He and his brother had the room across the hall.

After living there for a short time I noticed the cliche "uneasy feeling of being watched" I've never felt before or since. I noticed that his sister was terrified to sleep in her room. She would often wet the bed (unusual for a 10 year old) and so she would sleep on the pull out sofa in the living room. So I was in her room alone quite a bit... It all started for me when I was in bed working on a portrait. I heard a short electrical noise, every 45 seconds or so. I finally looked behind me to see a remote controlled car sitting there, in the middle of the floor. It wasn't moving, but the antenna was shaking like it had been. No big deal, I thought, it was just a malfunctioning toy... Then one morning, just before sunrise, I was lying in bed. I was definitely awake. Brittney (the little sister) had a hammock in her room filled with stuffed animals and dolls. And I swear I heard a voice from one of the dolls say "I love you, Mommy." I will admit I was completely creeped out, but I still rationalized it away. I thought maybe it was another toy malfunctioning, or maybe the cat was in the toy hammock. It was dark in the room so I couldn't see it. I just tried to dismiss it again.

So one night I was laying in bed. It was around 3 a.m. and I couldn't sleep. My boyfriend would often sneak out through the garage to smoke a cigarette. His room was across from mine at the dead end of a hallway. So to get to the garage he would have to walk passed my room. So I was laying there and I saw someone walk right passed my door. It was a male wearing a long sleeved white shirt. I thought it was my boyfriend. I called out "Pat, hey, Pat" but he didn't come back to the door. So I got up and walked into the hall. No one was there. I looked into the garage, the bathroom, the kitchen. No one. Then I started to feel freaked out. I hesitantly looked into his room and there he was sound asleep in his bunk and so was his brother! At this point I broke out in goosebumps and the hair on my neck and arms stood up. I slept in the boys room until morning, I didn't care if I got in trouble. It's hard to describe, but the person I saw basically walked out of a linen closet at the dead end of a hallway. It wasn't anyone else in the family because they could not have gone across from one side of the house to the other without me seeing them when I got up.

The real kicker came a few months after my boyfriend and I moved out of the house and into our first place together. His mom would come by to drop off groceries and visit etc. So she was with me one day, and somehow (i can't remember why) we got to talking about her house being sort of creepy. Without telling her the details from my own experiences, I told her I was scared when I lived there. Then she told me something I was not expecting. She told me that they had a trusted pest control guy who had been doing their house for a long time. She said all the sudden he refused to go into the house unless the family was there. Even in the middle of the day. His reason for feeling uneasy? He told her when he was there alone heard the dolls talking in Brittney's room and it freaked him out!

My first thought is that demons were involved, pretending to be little girls in order to sucker people into talking to them and inadvertently opening a 'portal' through which they can enter our world, because they can't get in unless we invite them in.
It happens in paranormal TV shows too, where the team hears little girl's voices saying stuff like "help me".
The reason they pretend to be little girls is so that we won't feel threatened by them.
But on the off chance that it really is a little girl's spirit asking for help it might be a good idea to do a compromise and say something like "In the name of Jesus find peace" and leave it at that.
Sometimes the demons will pretend to be somebody else to try to gain our sympathy, for example the film 'The Exorcist' portrayed it when the demon in the possessed girl pretended to be the priest's dead mother but he was clever enough to say "you're not my mother"-

It felt demonic. Oddly enough, this was just a typical suburban home. It didn't look unusual from the outside at all. Another detail I forgot to mention is they went through several pets while I was there. Dogs ran away. Rabbits died in their cages. It was just a creepy place.

So unnerving. Both the encounter with the orb and the video with the demon imitating wife's voice.

When you sleep, your soul goes everywhere. It might visit others, it can even go to the bottom heaven and mix with the angels. Listening in to their conversations.

Some people have managed to gain control of this phenomenon on some level. This is where lucid dreaming or "remote viewing" come in. If you master it, you can literally watch someone 1000s of miles away as you are basically soul projecting.

I suggest you never try it because you're entering the spiritual world, and you never know what you'll find. Most djinn dislike mankind (as God favored us over them), and it's a good way to get one attached to you. You're in their house, and they don't want you there.

Anyway, sometimes angels discuss future events and if your soul is witness to the conversation, as your body is in bed 1000s of miles away. You can experience deja vu when it actually plays out.

When you have deja vu, your conscious swears you've seen the event before. But this is only because you've heard about it prior from one of your nightly "trips". Notice how it is always minute details, a sentence or two that seems to be repeated. Because this is all you heard.

I've heard this explanation from others, and it seems to make the most sense going by some other things I know. God knows best to the truth to this, but it seems to be the most plausible explanation for deja vu.

It was around 3 a.m. and I couldn't sleep.
Ever wake up at 3 am? 3:30 am? 11:34 (hell backwards) is another common one.

1729961182852.png

Djinn will often direct your attention to the clock when these times occur, even if you're asleep. I've woken up at 3:30 exactly several times, looking up at the clock on my night stand to verify it.

The prophet of Islam (saw) told people to bring their kids inside at sunset because this is when the djinn start to spread out. As most of them sleep during the day, due to wanting to be away from mankind.

While they are essentially active all night, 3 am is known as the witching hour, and this is when many satanic rituals take place. Many references to 3 am can be found, as this seems to be when "paranormal" activity peaks. It is never something good, as it's usually a satanic reference.

Consider this old song by Eminem, "3am". Here's the chorus from it.

1729958443705.png

It is also a reference to Christianity, as 3am represents an upside down cross.

1729957726109.png

Both of your experiences were just bored djinn. In reality, we are surrounded by them all day, every day. Only when they make themselves known is when we notice. If you can imagine an invisible person constantly around you, it is less scary, because this is essentially all they are. Just another of God's creation living its life.

Most who make contact / show themselves only want to scare you, and they are essentially harmless. As I said above, a good jinn wants nothing to do with you and will never make himself known.

Protection from them is easily found for one so inclined. I've already given one example above.

MY 'SLIDER' EXPERIENCE by Clout
About 30 years ago I did a cycle-camping trip around Lincolnshire (England), and as I passed Cranwell RAF college and airfield in the early hours of the morning on a deserted road, the row of streetlights in this (modern google street view) pic went out one by one as i passed them, and came back on a few seconds later-
Cranwell_lights.jpg

I thought somebody was pranking me, so I just cycled on without giving it any more thought.
Some years later I heard that other people all over the world had experienced it too, so I searched the net and saw it's a fairly well-known thing called the 'Slider' effect.
I never tried to do it deliberately, it just happened, and it's never happened to me since, and neither have i tried to make it happen..:)
Perhaps there's a lot of "psychic energy" or whatever around old airfields because of all the student pilots who trained there, many of whom were killed in WW2.

Sorry, but I don't see the common point with days that I LIVED BEFORE, litteraly repeating themselve, and astral projection -.-. I really did live those repetitives days before, so do the others people I frequent in my daily life, except they don't realize it something happened already like a month before, and IS now repeating the same way some time later, or a whole day with the same set of events already happened before repeating itself, with people I frequent daily life saying the same thing they already said without realising they already said those things in the same setting etc...

Are you saying you've lived a past life, and you're here again? Repeating everything?
Every day is deja vu for you?

I'm not sure what you're saying. Maybe you can clarify your situation?

There are no ghosts in my story. I have met angels and have experienced miracles many times.

Spirits? Hard to say. Sometimes, I feel like my ancestors are with me, but I usually just call them my angels. I don't get too caught up in the distinction most days.
