Got me a tub of B&Js peanut butter cups, might prob stick some weed on it and have a wee beer or might not have a beer, but I might idk, def gonna do the weed/ice cream thing though, need to find something good to watch that I havent seen before beingin pain and bored is not a good combo, still not heard about the bungalow or had anything else worth a feck come up that we could get which sucks.

Keep getting knockbacks from any decent places cause of being on housing benefits which is just blatant discrimination but not illegal! :( Def thinking we need a cottage flat or this bungalow,my legs, back and neck are quite messed up and stairs def are making it worse so sooner we move the better!!

It seems the whole of the UK is having a housing crisis! It's the same situation where I live, vulnerable people with disabilities just aren't been housed fast enough due to the stigmatisation of people on benefits. I hope you find something soon, somewhere with a nice garden and local amenities so you don't have to travel far

Me too!! If we weren't kind of stuck to having to stay in Glasgow theres shitload of suitable properties and the rents even lower but its too far away from hospital for my daughters physio and miles away from everybody else we know. It is ridiculous, people on HB are more likely to be able to pay their rent more than someone who is employed and could loose their job or not be making enough to even pay their rent or bills, its really sickening. Here in Scotland we have slightly better housing rights than in England but its still an issue for loads of people. My bodys all rickety or something everytime I move it sounds like half a dozen twigs snapping. Gonna have a relaxing weekend just me and the cats lol

Are you from the Midwest? They SHINE in the culinary arts imo-- especially comfort food. I've never seen chili and noodles anywhere else. :)
Ha no, I'm from Canada. I think it all started when I decided to have fries with chili when I was younger, never seen it anywhere else, it was just something I thought of. And at a later time, it hit me to try chili instead of spaghetti sauce with my pasta - well, I was hooked and I eat that combo more than the other. Doesn't have to be baked, I just mix them together and we're done! My preference is the "saltier" chili, rather than the sweeter. Hmmm, I should check if we have a recipe/meals thread [good or bad for you!!] and if not, we can put some of our favorite meals in there?

I do hope the best for you. Here's a thought?
If I understood your situation correctly . . . if the organization that helped you get your current place and the one [the place you hope to move into] for those other people who moved into there before . . . and it's all good for the landlord, there shouldn't be a problem to switch you for them as a tenant? Would it maybe help for you to email some pics to this organization for speaking on your behalf to that landlord -- pics that show how you take care of your home right now? It doesn't make sense that there would be a hold-up. Maybe, I missed something.

Very random, but when I first arrived, I thought that @Karlysymon was Karly's Mom. *smh*

I like Karlysymon-- a bit more creative lol

Good idea.

Especially since you have adventurous eating habits-- I love it :)

That is most hilarious, "adventurous eating habits" - I don't think I am. Kind of a meat and potatoes person growing up, but don't cook alot with meat presently. Bacon is a weakness though (yes, we all know what's in there). Hmmm, add my quick fake bacon & tomato sandwich to my recent post . . .

I got back from my nephew's wedding yesterday (husband's side). It was a great wedding.
I wish I could remember more of the pastor's speech lines.
"If anyone wants to give any reason why these two should not come together in Holy matrimony...
...You're too late. They've been together 7 1/2 years. "

Pastor "... until death do you part?"
Nephew " I do."
Pastor "Right answer. Hashtag nailed it."

Other comments related to nephew needing to listen for his own sake, her being overorganised, when about to say "you may kiss the bride" for parents to cover their children's eyes.
Apparently my nephew has worked a lot with the pastor for church events (professional light technician) and the obvious affection between the couple and pastor was heartwarming.

Definitely the best family wedding I have ever been to so far. :)

At first I thought.... oh no..... stop the religion wars. stop the religion wars! peace between the religions!

then something told me- the religion wars.... will not cease..... unless secularism silences all religions and the peace of repression reins.....

thus I learned to stop worrying and accept the religion wars.
