I haven't watched the video yet so someone in it might make this point. Sarah Westall interviewed Matt Ehret and asked him why Americans don't ever learn from their past mistakes and are unable to think critically. In the last six minutes of the interview, Sarah acknowledged that the US eventually understood they were being duped with the war in Ukraine, but then stated by the time the average American understands what's going on, it'll be too late. I found Matt's answer insightful as he said the US lacks sovereignty and, "A sovereign nation only works when you have sovereign people and a sovereign people means people who are capable of formulating judgments that are mature and reasonable and tempered by conscience".

It would explain the fundamentalist attitude towards the Palestinians because none of them seem to reference their "end times" with any sort of morality or conscience, IMHO. As well, @DesertRose posted a video here where zionism is the only religion that kills innocent people for their "prophecy" to be fulfilled.

This video shouldn’t come as a surprise, it’s clear by now that Netanyahu is hellbent on turning Gaza into an inhabitable land of rubble. What’s worrying is, his plan to get neighbouring nations to take in Palestinians? Will Egypt succumb to pressure or fight back?
