Remind yourself of your strengths and admirable qualities. Find a hobby or a past time where you can meet new people and work on growing in confidence. Pray, reflect on what you’ve learnt from your experiences and reconnect with your Creator.

Fast by eating before sunrise and breaking fast after sunset.

Don't eat in between.
Sorry to be one of those people, but this isn't really realistic for most people. I don't think this will work :( most people eat three meals a day to have their energy throughout the day, this just sounds too strict and could make someone more lethargic and unhappy

Unfortunately I have suffered from narcissistic abuse and I don't know how to love myself. How do you love yourself and engage in self-care?
If you're a Christian, be PROUD that you're a child of God and not one of the mindless masses..:)
"What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?...Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord, I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters" (2 Cor 6:14-18 )

I'm sorry you had to go through this. How is your search going?
If you still need help, I'd recommend looking for something that brings you joy. It can be a new hobby, traveling, reading, painting, etc. I always find taking care of my body to be enjoyable. It is always great to go to a spa, visit a cosmetologist, or try a new cream or mask. I often contact empower pharmacy customer service to find out about new products.

All through my childhood my dad got his kicks from making me feel useless, but as I got older I began to realise he was a useless parent, and from that moment my self-confidence began to return..:)

To healthily love yourself, start by embracing self-care and setting realistic goals. The BetterMe guide on losing 20 pounds in 30 days offers practical advice, focusing on balanced eating and consistent exercise. It encourages gradual, sustainable changes rather than quick fixes, aligning with loving yourself through positive, achievable actions.

By stopping hating yourself.
And you can stop by stopping trying not to hate yourself.

..Find a hobby or a past time..
Agreed, when I bought my first computer some years ago I began dabbling in strategy games and to my surprise found I was regularly beating many players online and made quite a name for myself which continues to this day..:)

I think it is important to clearly understand your problem and think about how to solve it. Love for yourself manifests itself in different ways, you just need to understand how to act correctly in relation to yourself

Mindset is everything..:)
People without any spiritual depth or a sense of humour are like ricketty wagons without springs, jolted by every pebble on life's road because they're bogged down in earthly mindsets-

By contrast, Christians know this life on earth counts as zilch in the Grand Scheme of things..:)-
"For we look at things unseen rather than the seen, for the seen are temporary, but the unseen are eternal" (2 Cor 4:18)
"The world wants you to dance to its tune..." (Matt 11:16/17)
"He who is of the earth speaks earthly things" (John 3:31)
"Don't conform to the pattern of this world" (Rom 12:2)
"As a soldier of Christ, please only God and not the world" (2 Tim 2:3/4)
"Don't love the world or the things in it, otherwise the love of God is not in you" (1 John 2:15-17)
"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth" (Col 3:2)
"A friend of the world is the enemy of God" (James 4:4)
"You were dead when you followed the ways of the world" (Eph 2:1/2)

"You died with Christ from this world, so don't keep submitting to its rules" (Col 2:20)

I would recommend consulting a psychologist; it could really help you feel better mentally. Everything starts from within. I also went through a phase where I stopped taking care of myself and ate all kinds of junk food. As a result, I now have problematic skin and gained extra weight. I feel better now and have a healthier self-image, but it’s time to start caring for my body. I’ve ordered masks and peels from Canadian Pharmacy , and I’ve started eating healthier. Now I watch my diet and avoid fast food, chips, and the like.
