I honestly thought the crying was song related, but you've got a good point. It could be military related. Could also be it's the last day of the tour, the song itself, other things going on we don't know about.

I can't listen to Snooze without crying so... I get it. It's an emotional song. The title seems funny at first but it's really about young people who obsess over being famous and throw themselves to the wolves, to be specific, what we've been talking about regarding the dark room. He's literally telling young people not to suffer like he suffered. He mentions being erased, colleagues are also enemies, success is a leash and shackles, it's a major call out to the stuff we discuss here on the regular about the kpop industry being like slavery, and the dark room being a place where the people who choose to make you famous also hurt you. He's clearly been through some sh*t, and wants the legacy to stop here.
There's a conflicted sense of paradox, though, with what his "lyrics" want to convey and the reality that he's been a "willing participant" in all these supposed "sh*t" that he's been through the industry that he proudly embraces...

There's too much "hypocrisy..." a "two-faced" and "double-cross" elements...even the "crying" is "not to be trusted..."

It can be very well declared that BTS members have become "effective actors..."

Joining the military may actually help them "shed off" some layers of fakery...

I'm not sure how willing someone can be since they've been brainwashed since they were a teenager. That's an extremely impressionable time in a person's life, and a lot of damage can be done without them realizing it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are going into the military sooner than required to get away from the industry.

Finding this hilariously interesting...

This happened almost a year ago... (Sept.12, 2022)

"Signs of the times..."

Kim Seokjin "versus" The Emmys

"According to Variety the Emmys broadcast was down 25% from 2021, a record low, and it was especially low for viewers aged 18-49. Only 5.9 million people tuned in, compared to 7.9 last year. In fact, the audience for this year’s Emmys was even lower than it was in 2020 when there was basically no red carpet and most of the Emmys were presented virtually.

The fact that it was on a Monday probably didn’t help. But also the Emmys happened during a really, really busy weekend in pop culture with the Venice and Toronto film festivals in play and New York Fashion Week and the Queen and also, hilariously, another event – though this one was totally impromptu. It’s the power of BTS.

Let me set the scene:
On Monday night, BTS’s Jin livestreamed himself playing a video game. Jin also happened to be in Los Angeles, where the Emmys were taking place at the same time. So in one part of the city, hundreds of celebrities had gathered for the biggest night in television and in another part of the city one member of the biggest band in the world was in a hotel room doing nothing but playing a video game."

Jin 8.4M...Emmys 5.9M

So...what do you think of this song...and the singer?

The song: Lyrics are too "common," simple, and trite...melody is bland...

The singer...looks like a girl...(too "feminized" with those outfits...)

Obviously low-budgeted for an MV...

But...at least the song is a little bit decent...not like "seven..."

This is honestly the main thing I like about BTS and Army -how they've exposed charts, manipulation and shown the world how irrelevant some of these award shows, ceremonies or just in general how the west has become culturally. HYBE isn't any better yet that doesn't make it less amusing.

Ermm, his outfit is a mess. I wish he had vocal lessons. Atleast there’s no autotune but his voice sounds so basic.

Same with the mv, I get their going for some aesthetic vibe but it looks like a low budget mv, low effort, low creativity.

He looks like he doesn’t even want to be there, cudnt even lip sing the first few lines. He just gives me arrogant/ I think I’m better than everyone else in this world vibez now and in the mv too.

I just think his over hyped/ his visuals are over hyped.

It’s such a forgettable song….

Yes, the song and mv seem "rushed..." There's nothing special or unique about it. It's a 5/10.

I saw in news today that one of BTS is being forced into the military. Is Korea using this as propaganda so people will become more patriotic. I find it hard to believe he couldn't buy his way out somehow.

This is too much...SK gov't wants to "save face" because of the World Scouts' Jamboree hosting fiasco... and is summoning BTS to perform...

Seriously....

Oh for f*ck's sake... No, no, no. They are serving the military right now. You can't rely on them to fix your stupidity.

I'm not so sure about being forced. They all got extensions and they chose to end their extensions early, despite the company wanting them to stay out of the military as long as possible.

Haven't watched it. I definitely won't. I find Tae to be the least interesting out of them all, especially musically. I think at best he's a pretty face, but has nothing more to him than that.

I thought differently a few years ago, and thought he'd be more active in the industry and be a well-rounded artist, but it seems like he gives a crap even less than JM does.

A fiasco is misplacing an important item. A fiasco is a teacher showing up to the first day of school drunk. This was a disaster and a crime. Things were so bad Korean scouts left the area for the first time in the history of the event. Several countries went home because of the heat and wet bulb event.

There's several instances of sexual misconduct and possibly r*pe. The government has to get control of this situation before the backlash starts. We've had several wet bulb events this year and it's going to be worse in the future. Truthful scientists came out years ago and said we already passed the point of fixing the climate or pollution. All we can do is be slowly boiled alive with the fish and other animals who did nothing to deserve this. The elites did this, with our unwitting support. I don't want to argue about the climate, but it changes constantly. The temperature, ice shelf and poles shif

We're at the nexus of several events. The West of America is overdue for Yellowstone to erupt, the great Californian earthquake, overdue for a superstorm that will force our warmer air into outer space through a hole that will be ripped into the ozone layer.

There's also a polar shift that happens every 6-10,000 years, solar changes that will affect crops, and that's not adding in the man-made famine caused by the Russian and Ukrainian war. Nor the pandemic we're overdue for that will make covid seem like a cold. We have a beautiful planet and enough resources for everyone but our flagrant and arrogant misuse of those resources led to this.

The elite know about these changes as does several governments. That's why they built underground cities and bunkers and mined our planet of anything of value. When the poles change, most people will die and they want to stay in charge and ahead of the pack.
