Writing songs from lucifer's point of view about "his love" sounds satanic to me...

Black sabbath - "nib" lyrics

(no idea why there's random links in the lyrics)

The lyrics to this song weirded me out even before i became a Christian
Yeah I always wondered about NIB because most of their lyrics are kind of Christian. A lot of people don't realize that Ozzy didn't write many Black Sabbath lyrics. NIB is off their first album and is one of only three songs ever released on Rock Band by them. From what I have read they chose the name Black Sabbath after the horror movie of the same name from the early sixties. Also they have claimed that being satanic was just a gimmick to get noticed in the highly competitive music business. I think the song The Wizard off the first album is likely their point of view. Also I think they deserve mention of coining the phrase Master of Reality for their third album. Better to be a Master of Reality than a victim of reality. Of course being a Master of Reality is easy until the drugs wear off LOL.

Perhaps the band Obituary should be mentioned here. Songs such as Slowly We Rot and Gates of Hell guarantee you an unpleasant experience that are almost comedic.

At metal-archives.com, in the search bar in the upper right corner, you can drop down the menu where it says Band Name and select "Themes" for lyrical themes.

In lyrical themes you can find an entire list of known metal bands of all subgenres, for the themes,

Secret societies

New world order:

Conspiracy theories

And anti-zionism

Illuminati

And searching the term "freemasons" as themes redirects to a Melodic Technical Death/Thrash Metal band called Blood Mason

If you search the band name NWO, you'll get the search results of two bands, an American death metal band called No Way Out and a UK heavy metal band called New World Order

The band New World Order split up sometime after their formation in 1997, after their one and only 1998 4-song demo Actions Speak Louder.

But if we go back to searching for "conspiracy theories" in lyrical themes, you'll find an atmospheric black metal band called The Committee.

You'll also find a heavy metal band called Skull and Bones:

And a death metal/grindcore band called Ultimate Conspiracy

You also have albums titled New World Order:

I always liked the song called Christiandom by Paradise Lost. Also am wondering who was the first band to employ cookie monster type vocals. I wonder how much damage that causes to the vocal chords in long term use.

In my opinion, the death/thrash metal band Possessed started harsh vocals with their 1984 EP Death Metal; simultaneously, Chuck Schuldiner of Death used harsh vocals on Death's 1984 EP Death By Metal, which is still a death/thrash EP imo and not fully a death metal one. The first official death metal album is Death's Scream Bloody Gore released May 25, 1987.

Death's demo Death By Metal.

Possessed's demo Death Metal

From their 1985 Seven Churches album

As for how the vocalists maintain their vocals for extended periods of time without their throats hurting and them damaging their vocal chords, they first learn how to sing, along with singing, vocal and breathing techniques.

The death metal growl and black metal scream/rasp/shriek are NOT using vocal fry, that would possibly permanently damage your vocal chords. They are some sort of exhale and in some cases inhale breathing technique that I'm not sure how to do. I can ask an online metalhead friend.

The vocalists always drink a glass or bottle of lukewarm or room temp water before practicing or performing and always do vocal warmup and other exercises, and are seen with a water bottle on stage during live performances.

The death metal subgenre brutal death metal, especially its subgenre slam brutal death metal / slamming brutal death metal ("slam" for short), however, does not use death growls. Slamming brutal death metal instead uses some sort of gurgly ribbity vocal style that sounds like frogs ribbiting, or pigs squealing, or sounds like water or liquid gurgling when it boils. An example (and diversity is in metal) is the band Syphilectomy from Nagaland, India.

Brutal death metal is the only subgenre of death metal to use this gurgly vocal style. Otherwise, this vocal style is found in the grindcore subgenres goregrind and pornogrind.

Honestly it took me a long time to begin liking slamming brutal death metal, because I hate this vocal style. It sounds stupid, and doesn't sound demonic like the cookie monster vocal style does. Anyway, this gurgly vocal style was introduced into death metal by the technical death metal band Demilich, with their 1993 album Nespithe.

There is also the one man brutal death metal band Heinous Killings (j0e w0lf3) who on his only album in 2006, Hung With Barbwire, uses "Predator style" (from the Predator and Alien vs. Predator movies) vocals.

I never heard of pornogrind before and am almost afraid to ask what it is LOL.

Oh yes Obituary are great, John Tardy's vocals offended my uncle, he demanded that I turn that "disgusting music" off lol

In 2018, Pat O'Brien, the ex-guitarist of Cannibal Corpse, had a mental breakdown where he broke into a neighbour's home, shouting "the rapture is coming," pushed a woman to the ground and charged at a deputy with a knife. His rental house somehow went up in flames while this happened. Thankfully he was subdued with a stungun and not shot.

He was sentenced to 5 years probation and had to pay $23,793.45 in restitution.

He was released from Hillsborough County jail on December 14, 2018 after posting a $50,000 surety bond.

Police found a large cache of firearms and ammunition in his home. They found a "large cache of weapon, locked safes and potential explosive devices inside O'Brien's home, including 50 shotguns, 20 semiautomatic rifles, two Uzi-style firearms, 20 handguns and two flamethrowers. Authorities also discovered thousands of rounds as well as additional weapons".

Not all metal is Satanic, occult or Luciferian; Christian metal exists.

You'll get quite the number of bands if you search "Christianity" under "Themes" at metal-archives.com ("Anti-Christianity" will also be included at page 8 and after)

For the first 8 pages, you have bands that have "Christianity" as lyrical themes.

Also, there is a neo-classical power metal band from South Korea called JesusBand.

I'm sure you know about the inverse Tree of Life, the Tree of Qliphoth also known as Tree of Knowledge. Qliphoth translates to "husks" or "shells" in Hebrew.

One sphere of the Qliphoth is called Gha'agsheblah.

You'll also see Gha'agsheblah's logo, which has the triangle the all seeing eye.

There are 12 bands that have "Qliphoth" as their lyrical themes.

And one band called Ophidian Ritual, that has the variant spelling "Qlippoth".

Three bands are named after the 4th Sephirah called Gevurah.

The black metal band Black Funeral is also headed by Michael W. Ford, a Luciferian-Satanist and left hand path magus. Black Funeral's album Waters of Weeping's lyrical themes are focused on the Qliphoth. The album cover booklet back cover has the Qliphoth Tree depicted.

If you go to metal-archives.com and on the left side menu, click on "R.I.P.", you will find all deceased metal musicians, with the bands they are in, their date of death and cause of death.

It is very, very sad that there are 7820 entries on this page, over 7820 metal musicians have passed away, at the time of this writing.
I noticed a guy from the Cockney Rejects on that list. They had some really good stuff and they were produced by Jimmy Pursey from Sham 69. Ramones are always considered a punk band but I think they are metal too.

Here are the search results for bands named "Cube", notice there is a progressive metal band named "Black Cube".

Here are the search results for bands named

Saturnus:

Bands named Saturn and with Saturn in the title:

Bands named Chronos:

Bands named Cronos:

Bands named Cronus:

Bands named Yaldabaoth:

There is also a new age movement called Metatron's Cube, however the archangel Metatron does not have a cube, the cube belongs to Saturnus/Chronos and has to do with Saturnian black cube magick.

Bands named Azazel:

Saturn-Standard.jpg

Please check out the book, The Cult of the Black Cube by Arthur Moros.

Please click the word "GET" to download the book safely in pdf.

He explains the Saturn diety, aka the ancient Roman Saturn, aka the Greek Cronos, the Gnostic Ialdabaoth/Yaldabaoth, the Indian Śani, where the origin of the Grim Reaper came from, is being worshipped today, especially by a black cube cult in India. But this deity has been worshipped in the Roman, Greek and ancient Arab pagan (pre-Islamic) and Indian cultures.

This book is also a grimoire, a magical instruction book to cautiously contact the Cronos/Saturn deity.

Warning: The Cronos/Saturn deity is a fundamentally unkind and sadistic being that will harm the magician who evokes or invokes the deity, so the magician must wear protective phylacteries, like Talismans.

However, it's explained that the black cube cult is global and Cronos/Saturn is the diety behind Judaism and the Zionist elites are part of this black cube cult.

This Saturn/Cronos/Ialdabaoth deity's worship is represented by various black cube, black stone, and black obelisk symbolism. You'll find his symbolism if you search "black cube saturn" in Yandex images.

It says on page 108 of The Cult of the Black Cube,

"One might wonder what Virgil intended when he wrote Magnus ab integro saeclorum nascitur ordo, iam redit et Virgo, redeunt Saturnia regna (The new world order is born, and now justice returns, Saturn's reign restored)."

Also they have claimed that being satanic was just a gimmick to get noticed in the highly competitive music business.
Did they use satan...
...or did satan use them.

I think they and any other band who uses satan for success yet thinks they remain 'above it' got played big time. Satan isn't going to lend his PR, branding, and merch out for free.
