i've been noticing a pattern these days to the point where i just have to comment, just look at some of these pann posts. looks looks looks. it's never about the talent. now i get why idols, especially 4th gen ones are abusing fillers and botching their faces to the point of no repair. kpop has gotten so vain and superficial to the point where i just couldnt imagine being in that industry without going utterly insane. so toxic. i won't be suprised if people will start putting looks over talent. if they haven't already.

and knets complain about the beauty standards being so rough and hard when they're part of the problem. i literally saw a comment the other day of one saying idols who are ugly should be put in jail:rolleyes: like are you out of your fucking mind? it's no wonder they're are so depressed. if they want to see a change in their society they need to Iook into themselves first and fix their own issues of self-hate.
KPop never did as well as they did before... they did surgery, to make them more European, but also more, say perfect/perfectly proportioned.

Moreover, as for a long time, example: in France, tanned skin was frowned upon, since it was the poor who were outside, were tanned. With the holidays, it has become fashionable to be tanned in summer.
While in Korea, the idea of whiteness still exists, it would be a confusing sign of purity [religious question, (universal religion for the world), skin color and light for whites, matter for blacks; just as man is related to good and woman is related to evil]. In Korea, in addition to makeup... they also take pills.

I think he knows. He's the first idol I've heard of donating time or promoting for an autism organization. His family and real friends are protective of him and keep his secrets. If he's autistic, privacy is necessary. Something like that would destroy his career. S4lli went braless and knets drove her to take her own life. It's more complicated than that, but they didn't help. All of his closest friends and colleagues were afraid to send him, but he had to go. I hope someone stays with him until his service is over.

I want to agree with you about his sexuality but a lot of gay men sleep with women and aren't bisexual. There's also Ricky Martin. His whole concept was sexy. When he came out, no one believed it.
I found this some sm idols promoted Korea autism expo including T@em I think some at essem might be more aware about autism.
T@em is more babyish and dependent then I previously thought his childish behavior is more noticeable in s4perm's content. B@ekhyun is chaotic and quirky but he was able to drop the quirkiness and act serious as a leader but T@em still acts babyish. The Maknae line in s4perm looked less childish than him and despite being the senior most member he had the others especially B@ekhyun take care of him.

Sull1 and jj0ng were too rebellious for Koreans to like them. Sull1 supporting the bra less movement so publicly was a big deal in Korea. People labeled her "eccentric", too "inappropriate" and "Provocative". Jj0ng received backlash for being outspoken on social issues too. T@em compared to those two avoids getting into controversies and that's why he's still in Korea's good books. If he comes out as autistic that clean image will be destroyed. I hope someone from his family is with him rn even people with milder forms of autism need help and care to function in society.

Him being gay or straight isn't really important all that matters is that he gets the help he needs to manage his mental health issues and is able to live the way he wants

That's what I thought at first. There's a video of them singing live and he's hyper and sniffing. Drugs are a part of kpop. We're not built to stay up for days and rarely eat. Idols need energy during performances.

I've read about rumors from insider accounts that idols smoke or vape for weight loss and reduce stress I think some might be using drugs as a way to cope with stress

I found this on quora and I think this is legit I am only posting parts I think are important. This person said they were an employee at 5m who left due to disagreements with the company they worked for N*t, XO and RV this post is from October 2020

SM pays a ton to Dispatch, likely more than other companies but this is unknown.
Idols there may date or have fling but they keep it down low as much as possible. Very good hiding dating status with non groupmates

For shipping, idols are made to enforce ship, especially gay (male) ones. They cannot fight any of this because they could have consequence like losing job, money, outing, ect. SM goes overboard and likes to exploit friendships. Idols and company very much aware of shipping, as you can tell, and some friendships are nearly severed.

SM picks favorite in every group, it is easy to see. Sometimes favorite changes and other idols purposefully targeted and pushed aside because their talent is seen as a “threat” to favorite/s of the group.

NCT 127 unit, Shinee, and Red Velvet specifically show visible and serious signs of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and eating disorder behind the scenes, and fake happy on camera(smile a lot, laugh, joke, talk positively about themself and other members, ect). Has been an ongoing problem that SM poorly adresses. Members know and try to help. Both male and female have disordered eating.

Overworking and ignoring injuries is common. And made to feel guilt if they take health seriously. This happens in all groups.

RV:
Red Velvet not being treated well, got worse after Aespa formed. Talks of disbandment. The girls are hurt, but not suprised, this is pattern with SM’s girlgroups. SM doesn’t care about girlgroups in general, doesn’t think they’re as important as boygroup or worth time. Fans really need to prove that this is not the case if they want change.

NCT:
Yuta, Taeyong, Ten, Jungwoo, Yangyang, and Jaemin are in lgbt community. This is open secret, and it is likely used against them in one way or another. (think blackmail)
Some members of NCT and EXO try to learn about social issues and work to become more accepting. This may be case for other groups, too
NCT members are made to act how they act around Winwin. Of course they love him, but not to the extent you see on camera. Winwin is very uncomfortable with it and always was, and others are too.
Mark scared to talk to fans after live incident. Seeing fans upset with him hurts him to the core.

most of this stuff does not surprise me except for the the gay fanservice part I didn't know that those who refuse to do gay fanservice may even lose their job or not get paid by the company I feel bad for those who are forced to do it all the time even if it makes them uncomfortable. Also I know about ten and Yuta's gay rumors but didn't know T@eyong, jungwoo, j@emin, yangyang are part of LGBT community as well

Alot of people suspect that he might be being abused or something going on with him. First JD now even Sofia in her recent video she did exposing their freeze trailer.... I also saw this post which I thought was interesting

All hyb3 idols from T x t and Enpipen look like they are being abused or are deeply traumatized. There is no happiness or youthfulness on their faces. I think hyb3 staff does not treat them well behind the scenes

Some autistic people thrive on routine and rigid systems. I think it's probably not a lot of but there's a ton of mentally ill people in the industry. If they weren't sick going in, they will be once they're done. Do you think any ggs have autistic members? Some of the female idols have similar behaviors.
I know that autistic people can thrive on routine and rigid systems but a lot of people with autism have poor social skills or face delay in speech and motor skills development. There's also the part about autistic people being stigmatized in korea so some companies might not want to take the risk of debuting an idol who is less than perfect. So I believe unless an Idol has exceptional dance or vocal talent the company might not consider debuting them

more on pann posts on looks. i don't understand fans who can consume this content daily and not feel depressed. all this just fuels your mental illness, body dysmorphia, eating disorders, etc and they wonder why it's getting worse
Just look at the most popular idols in Korea it's always the visual members Y00na, Irene, BP members, Kar1na, Tzuyu, etc. IU and T@eyon are exceptions but they will too often receive more comments about their visuals than talent. Among males it's BT5 members, Sehun, Cha eun woo, Kang Dan1el, J@ehyun, T@eyong etc all visual members are the ones korea likes the most. Kpop was never about talent. Korea doesn't care about anything other than looks and personality of celebrities

This is sad it made me look at Irene's scandal in a different light. Kpop stylist are paid so poorly less than $1000 a month is too low for the amount of work they do. SK is hell for everyone celebrity or non-celebrity doesn't matter :(

I decided to read the presentation/document that someone posted here. I think it was Authur12? A lot of what is talked about in the presentation made me open my eyes even further with signs and gestures I did not know of before. When I read about the bathtub sign, my mind instantly went to J0nghyun. Everybody thinks the music video is art when it isn’t. The bathtub is explained to be a satanic baptism, and it is strange to see this in his last year of living. I think his depressed face throughout the whole video was not acting, that was real. He is not happy about having to do this. Did this satanic baptism also cue as a sacrifice? I feel the music video has so much to tell, it’s scary obvious with the marks on his body. He looked so depressed and sullen the last year of his life, and of course the company pinned that as mental illness instead of what was the reality. I feel the video is a cover up to make his passing seem more realistic. “Oh he’s just depressed/borderline suicidal, so he’s going to make a music video about it so you guys understand why he died”. Companies and elites will always pin some kind of weakness as to why that person passed. That is truly terrifying.

Jj0ng's inspiration VCR was like a ritual. Shuna confirmed it. Jj0ng was one of LSM's favourite idols he wanted jj0ng to be the leader and he allowed jj0ng to release his own self-written, self-produced albums. I think LSM wanted him to do these rituals for him but when they perform these rituals they are summoning demonic entities. Demons create depression because they suck out energy from humans. Jj0ng probably did not want to do it but he was forced to do it because there isn't much they can do leaving is almost impossible once you join Essem.
This same bath tub symbolism was used by Britney spears in Everytime she predicted her own downfall in the OG video of everytime she showed herself dying of suicide like jj0ng but the video was changed later as it was criticised for promoting suicide. This was released in 2004 and everyone knows what happened to her in the following years.
I found this tweet do you know any link to the vcr where he shows himself like this??

Even stray kizs look more youth ful than them. U can see their game playing like that things after 5 min they all will be very weak and no energy will be left in them. Like they can't do anything always sit on sofa.
At 4.43 boy completely lost his mind he look like a mad person. And recently he complained about how he is not looking good after he has cut his hair.

Found it the symbolism makes sense now the black smoke (dying by inhaling carbon monoxide), The woman is temptation (Satan) she is tempting him to commit suicide she is burning coal in that pot. The clock needles pointing at 10 and 8 (10+8=18). He loses the boxing match (losing the battle to depression). The rain could mean melancholy, sadness. The bathtub appears like in lonely resembling a coffin. The black smoke turns into blood. The blood falls inside the bathtub. The fire at the end (he accepts the woman's temptation and burns the coal briquettes).
This commentator is German she explains some symbolism:
The background music is to “let me out” this video describe his depression i’m from Germany i understood all the words in german and it’s all insider for depression “my friend black my friend my bestfriend” aka “mein freund schwarz mein freund, bester freund” the depression he described as a person in your head like demons myself suffer with depression and this video is literally showing it everything the hit on the face part it came so fast like depression does and myself i haven’t a pretty good childhood i suffer with own struggles but this video is a spoiler how Jonghyun’s self feeling with that struggle with him own fame his story he show it literally here it’s like he doesn’t want to feel like that that’s why let’s go back :( he showed his pain with that video and me shawol see this now the late Jonghyun you deserved better you did well ❤don’t trust your your dark black thoughts like a friend he shouldn’t win for doing all this fvck depression you can do it better saying this to all guys! live and love

I will agree with you that it doesn't matter what gender he likes or his sexuality. That's the least important thing. Taem1n was left unprotected during his service and he went through hell because of that. No one should ever experience what he's went through. Even normal experiences in the military are harrowing. It's not a pleasant place to be. I'm going to attach some pictures of texts people sent. I can't tell if they were from twitter or something sent between people on the base.

Jjong shook the table too much, supporting feminism, mental health, LGBT people, and being open about his own struggles. We all hide things, but Koreans aren't open about their feelings and put on a show to brag about themselves. We all do it, but it's to an extreme. They also have no problem destroying someone who falls outside of society's bounds. S4LLI was targeted because she was too free and even begging the public didn't help. All of them deserved better. Taem1n saw this and was afraid to leave the military because he knew how easily they could turn on him.

This popular second gen idol “T" has recently admitted about suffering from mental health issues but it was pretty obvious he was suffering from this before because of the se*ual harrasment he suffered because of his looks as well as the loss of one member. The recent incidents just made it worse. He is said to be a very nice guy.
Guys I think it's obvious that this is about T@emin I found this on Quora I am worried he faced Sexual harrassment in the military too:(

Signing Taem1n paid off multiple times and it was worth the risk. A lot of autistic people are very pleasant and people pleasers. That can work against them in a bad situation but it means they can be trained. Even though he's one of the best dancers, he doesn't learn choreography instantly. I think he struggles with motor skills and hand eye coordination.
