A criticism of democracy isn't an affirmation of another system. I was commenting on how democracies turn into oligarchies, because it's unique to them. The most important thing for a democratic ruling elite is to manipulate mass opinion, manufacture consent, and ultimately use psychological warfare and social engineering for a democratic population to keep the oligarchy on top. You don't see Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Russia. putting the same effort into this aspect, although they still do to a lesser degree, direct violence from those states is the method of keeping the population in line, not psychological manipulation which is secondary. All of those states have a defined oligarchy which will serve a life term, they don't need to vie for power in the same way. The west uses a psychological approach and only turns to violence at specific times and always cushions it with layers of propoganda so that the political current isn't disturbed. It's not a value judgement of democracy, only a look at how they turn into oligarchies and maintain them.

There are no true democracies. Representative democracies are not the same as DIRECT democracies.

Something Gaddafi's Libya was working on before it was destroyed by the "democracies" of the west.

Another thing, they keep saying "Russian oligarchs" as if there are no oligarchs in the West. Such double standards.

Western Democracy is oligarchs corrupting elected representatives , and so it's not rule by the people but rule by the oligarchs.

This is about who can sell oil to Germany and the EU.

I think there are many differences . If u escape from war to neighbouring country then yes in my eyes u are a war refugee but if u keep crossing multiple countries where is no war or no direct threat to your life then the person does not seem to be fleeing from war but instead has its eyes on welfare money.As usually is the case.
Slavic people running into neighbouring slavic countries is also a bit different than Somalians running into Scandinavia or Syrians running to Germany .Totally different cultures and language .You gotta spend ton of money on schooling etc while slavic people usually speak more than one slavic language (Poland is full of Ukrainian workers normally so i doubt they are gonna have any language barrier problem and gonna need an army of translators and social workers who are gonna take care of them).
The way i see it - if u aint physicly or mentally disabled or and elderly person then no welfare money to you- why the hell should other people carry your ass if u aint willing to do it for yourself ? If u dont want to work then starve,thats your choice.

Zelensky is literally an actor installed by the US. Its alot like Russia installing a Prime minister in Canada right along US borders then pumping up their military, which is exactly what we've (the US) been doing in the Ukraine since 2014 at least.
