Agree no amount of money and fame can bring you happiness and peace of mind but in t@emin's defense he was very young when he debuted and I don't think he had any idea what he was signing up for at that time but it's terrifying hearing all these stories from his colleagues his case seems pretty severe it's heartbreaking honestly it should be banned to allow children as young as 14-15 to debut as entertainers we have so many cases of young children Disney stars and kpop idols alike who are destroyed by the entertainment industry and the recent trend of idols debuting younger needs to stop personally as a sh@wol after this news I am thinking it is better if sh!nee disband or better retire now because it is clear that this idol job is not doing them any good we couldn't do anything to save jj0nghyun but at least we can save t@emin before it's too latehttps://www.pannchoa.com/2022/01/theqoo-taemins-training-camp-colleagues.html
Imagine having to take 6-8 sleeping pills so you can sleep and still wake up bc of nightmares...
Just how traumatised these idols are? They must have witnessed and maybe participated in horrible things, some of course are victims too... all just for the money and fame. I understand that most 2nd/3rd generation idols came from poor households and didn't have much perspective on life, with the idol career being one of the ways to a better life, but honestly it's not worth losing your mental health and dignity for money and fame. I believe these idols would be happy today if they just went about their normal lives, had a normal job, etc.
