The beauty of "Train to Busan" and "Crash Landing on You" is their cultural specificity, which is erased by remakes

Are they serious? Korean entertainment adapts and remakes everyone's culture. I'm tired of Korean exceptionalism. They should stop first if they want others to stop.

Interestingly, some of the hit Kdramas were adapted from other drama series from other countries. For example, "The World of the Married" a hit from 2020 was based on BBC One's drama series "Doctor Foster..."

Very true, for them it's not really a humiliation, but more like the acceptance of the so called "feminine part" in them, and to emerge the feminine and masculine, bad and good, black and white, justice and crime, and make it one, the illumination like they call it.

While we see the abuses and manipulations...they seem to be "unmindful" of them...

They've convinced themselves that these are "normal" stuff and so they just "go with the flow..."
