These songs have all the same content found in other Pop star lyrics...This could have easily been a Taylor Swift song, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga..

I don't see this chick as the Pop-Punk Princess the media says she is. Avril Lavigne is too commercial to be considered punk rock. Her image and music are bubblegum pop especially when she went blonde, wore pink clothing and sang about Hello Kitty. Very cheerleader. She moved on to more occult imagery. Her music is best described as pop-rock.

I do pity her as person. Who knows what happened to her between 2002-2003.

Avril Lavigne was scouted by the record companies from a canadian town where she was singing Shania Twain and Celine Dion, she was rebranded as a Punk Pop singer and had a team of writers for her. Stylists.... etc.....

The theory she has a body double came about because she actually had a nose job at some point, you can see how petite it is at the tip now when it wasn't before. But she was just still a teenager from a rural town.

Now she does collabs with Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, other record backed singers, so shes been in the machine the whole time.

You can see on the third album is more reminicent of what she sung growing up like Shania Twain plus a few influences that her permanent touring bandmates under her old label like Evan Taubenfeld introduced her to.
