So why have the Trump-haters been whining for almost four years about Hillary winning the popular vote, if they understand how the electoral college works?

yeah, they can pretty much throw in the towel with their efforts to restrict the 2nd amendment now.
thinking back now, had all of those phony fake shooting events had their desired result (gun confiscation/restrictions), we would be in deep trouble.

as president, trump can only offer aid/assistance to the states. the governors have the final say about what happens in their state. in the case of federal buildings (courts, etc.), trump can send troops in to protect them.
if trump sends troops in, the liberals will cry that hes a police state authoritarian. by doing nothing, it showcases how poorly these democrat leaders are in these states by allowing this to continue. these democrat politicians allowing these riots to continue (and kamala harris cheering them on) will get trump elected.
the democratic leaders can figure out how to raise money to rebuild their trashed cities (at some point) at a time when the state treasuries are woefully low due to the BS-19 lockdowns. these states/cities deserve no federal aid. let BLM rebuild them.

its not so much that the USPS sucks as it has been operating at a loss for a LONG time. the service, IMO, is okay; its the bloated pensions that are weighing it down. ( to be fair, many government and police pensions are a serious drain.)

They have to fully fund their pensions 75 years in advance. No other agency or company has to do that. None.

Trump is banking on the riots demonizing the left ahead of the election. He has been the whole damn time. I said it day two and I said “hey watch out for agent provaceteurs with a motive to make this bloody violent” and no one listened to me and just said I was making excuses. I was not.

Because they don’t think the electoral college should be a thing and that a system which overrides the popular vote is fair. And they’ve been saying that since way before trump got into politics.
