The US military is stationed across the globe. According to 247wallst, there are more than 500 bases on foreign territory.

Since 9/11, American taxpayers have spent $ 6.4 trillion on wars and military in the Middle East and Asia alone.

In Germany, the number of US soldiers was divided in half from 2006 2018 - 72400 to 33250.

German taxpayers are obliged to aid the military - over 240 million euros from 2012-2019.

Three Yemenis impeached the German government of participating in felonies against humanity and human rights which are legally defined in the UN-Charta.

Article 1 of the UN-Charta states:

“The Purposes of the United Nations are:

1. To maintain international peace and security, and to that end: to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace, and for the suppression of acts of aggression or other breaches of the peace, and to bring about by peaceful means, and in conformity with the principles of justice and international law, adjustment or settlement of international disputes or situations which might lead to a breach of the peace;

2. To develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, and to take other appropriate measures to strengthen universal peace;

3. To achieve international cooperation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion; and

4. To be a center for harmonising the actions of nations in the attainment of these common ends.”

Translation of the German Zeit article:

Germany has to test drone deployments from US Air Base Ramstein

Is Germany partly responsible for a deadly US drone attack? Plaintiffs from Yemen have had partial success in the Münster Higher Administrative Court.

The Oberverwaltungsgericht (OVG) in Münster has condemned the German government to actively investigate whether US drone missions in Yemen using the American military base in Ramstein, Palatinate, violate international law. Three Yemenis had sued the Federal Republic of Germany on behalf of the Ministry of Defense. The men said they had lost relatives in their home country and said they feared their own lives given the ongoing drone strikes.

If necessary, the Federal Republic of America must work towards compliance with international law, the judges ruled. However, the court rejected the plaintiffs' request to prohibit the use of Ramstein Air Base for armed drone operations.

According to the court, the Federal Republic has an obligation to protect the lives of the plaintiffs, which it has so far not sufficiently fulfilled. Such a duty to protect the state exists in the case of dangers to the fundamental right to life, also in matters relating to a foreign country, provided there is a sufficiently close connection to the German state. This is true in the present case because the plaintiffs are justifiably concerned about the danger to life and limb from US drone missions in violation of international law using facilities at Ramstein Air Base.

There are indications that the US, using technical facilities at Ramstein Air Base and its own personnel based there, is carrying out armed drone deployments in the plaintiffs' home region in Yemen, "which at least partially violate international law, making the plaintiffs unlawful in their right to life are at risk, "said the court. Because of the fundamental importance of the case, the OVG Senate approved the appeal to the Federal Administrative Court.

Somali lawsuit dismissed

The OVG, however, dismissed a Somali lawsuit against the Federal Republic after a US drone attack in his homeland in 2012. No breach of duty by the Federal Republic could be found. The Senate is also not convinced that the plaintiff's father was actually killed by a US drone.

The man had argued that the attack was only possible with the participation of the US military base in Ramstein, Palatinate, and the use of a satellite relay station there. The plaintiff's father was herding camels when he died near Mogadishu on February 24, 2012, from an attack by an American drone. This was for a fighter from the African terrorist group Al-Shabaab and was probably coordinated from one of the US bases in Ramstein or Stuttgart.

The OVG did not allow a revision, but a complaint is possible, so that the judgment from Münster is initially not final. The Ministry of Defense, with its first office in Bonn, was the representative of the lawsuit.

Iam posting this comment here for perspective.
Muslims should manage their affairs better and stop complaining about Western intervention. Weakness, sterility and incompetence invite attacks. That is a geopolitical reality. It is also historical fact.
Qatar, Oman, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Iraq and Jordan all host US military installations on their soil. If Muslims are getting invaded by outside forces, its because their own leaders are facilitating it.

I don't think Qatar was that much worried about a military invasion from KSA since they host one of the largest US military bases.

I read about stories abroad and people not too fond of americans
Don’t want to sound rude, but Americans are considered as uneducated and illiterate here. But that’s - obviously - not my opinion since I have some American friends who are very nice and educated people. Also, there are stupid and uneducated Germans, too lol :)

I'm starting to believe you're literally a long acting parody account and somehow no one realized it. You can't actually believe this, have access to the internet, and think that it's actually a true thing. The first world, as a whole, has the same amount of freedoms... And in some cases more.

Haha, what? A long acting parody account?

What are the more freedoms you think the first world has above the US?
