Why would there be? Sin always has a consequence...like if you lie to someone you can lose their trust. You still have to ask for forgiveness for that sin and you will be back in relationship with God. The lake of fire is for people who sin and aren’t sorry for it and don’t believe in Jesus as savior. That is the ultimate punishment for sins.
