This is the first massive crisis we have had during the internet age, especially since the rise of social media.

We had internet during 911 but it was not used anywhere near as much... no smart phones, WiFi, etc.

I got my 911 news by watching how much soot was falling from the sky. And turning on an old school tv, requiring me to be home and able to watch tv.
This is definitely a very fascinating observation, I tend to agree.

Revelation 6:6

"Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "Two pounds of wheat for a day's wages, and six pounds of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!"

..Just sayin'.
I'd like to counter this "it's going by the book" narrative with some balance.

Perhaps this virus is the globalists plan B. I'm sure they anticipated a different response from the Iranians after bombing their General but it didn't quite come off.

When you are under the control of psycopaths you just have to expect bad baad shit to happen.

It is amazing how many new terms are born in this current age. "Social distancing." are the latest buzzwords. It is also as if they know enough people will be defiant to that by going to bars and about their business so that they may be able to call for curfews. Once that happens, they can easily cause more disruption from break-ins, etc to where Martial Law is possible. Somewhere, they are watching this and learning which way the herds will go. It would not be hard for one item to be hyped as possibly being short (see toilet paper) and then to watch people kill themselves over it. A lot has happened daily, but this weekend is on fire and I have a feeling that by days end, we will see major cancellations and restrictions as a new week starts.

Another thing I am noticing is the void and the absence of sports entertainment is having in the US and elsewhere. There are no outlets on what has been a part of people's lives from birth and we are seeing high levels of anxiety. And anxiety leads to attacks, be they personal or physical. This also points to how accustomed people are with what they consume with their minds and how what was in place seemingly was enough to provide control.

Each item or ritual which is taken away from people shows how society was already on the brink and that any natural disaster would leave humanity pretty helpless. And that is where acceptance of new, stringent policies and rules comes into play. People will accept their rights curtailed to just get back to what they think was normal everyday business. What people are dumb to is how far tech has gone and that there is no defense from what may come if they start to release it. Some have no idea what lurks just beneath the surface. So, what we are seeing is minor on the surface control.

Oh, that’s just the rank stupidity. I’ve been watching people lined up to buy insane amounts of the stupidest things. There’s no reason to it. People are just compelled to be buying something.
Here in Albuquerque and I think I was reading it’s also nation wide, but now stores are having a limit in how much bottled water, toilet paper etc you can buy.

The wife and I went to the store yesterday to buy some paper towels, finally able to buy bottled water here and at the checkout lines there were security guards and a cop to make sure people were not exceeding the limit on water, toilet paper and sanitizer.

We even had a discussion with those around us saying that it’s sad that we have to be monitored in what we buy now because of people over exaggerating.

Even the security guards and cops agreed.

I like sports, but I am not having anxiety. That’s one thing that always baffled me is how....fanatical some people are.

I guess just cause I have enough hobbies personally to keep me entertained.

And yes, tech has gotten very powerful. I am always thinking of that movie wall-e. The humans were living a lie thanks to tech. We’re giving up freedoms by the year now all in the name of tech and supposed “security”.

A clinician I know said she was dealing with a ton of anxiety and that they cannot keep up with the people needing therapy. This situation has triggered a lot of people in new ways and we are seeing how dumbed-down society has become in a crystal clear manner. Some people's jobs are toast from the happenings as well. The repercussions from the panic will carry on for a long time now. People will always flock to stores with any threat now and that could lead to permanent limits. Social pleasantries are pretty non-existent already in many cases, but there are also some people helping others and even giving up things others are out of.

And one other thing in play here is the ultimate distraction this is as many things around us are changing and going unnoticed. Lastly, once the bans are lighter and we get back to the so-called normal, we will be the consumers they covet. Our dependence on things are becoming evident and the fact that many are not capable of adjusting in ways they need to in order to survive. The dumbest of us will become stalkers and criminals for they cannot form rational self-protection mechanics. Anyhow, good luck in New Mexico. And while I am on the fence with some gun control issues, this kind of thing is why many want the right to bear arms. People want to protect themselves, not create militias. There are more and more citizens already scared to go into stores, especially the elderly who will be not only the first to have problems with the virus but be taken advantage of by lowlifes.

Trump is literally trying to buy a German firm trying to make corona vaccine and getting "exclusive rights". As in NO one else but US would have access to it. That's so stupid and Germany is thankfully trying to prevent that.

Selfish assholes, that is what US keeps projecting itself as.

Another shot at Merica per usual. Links are helpful. Do you really think there is not a cure already for some? Nice divisive tactics and trying to flip this. BTW, if my information came from the Daily Mail I would not provide a link as you did.

The Daily Mail has been widely criticised for its unreliability, as well as printing of sensationalist and inaccurate scare stories of science and medical research, and for copyright violations. The Daily Mail is the least credible gossip rag in the UK. It bases most of its articles on sensationalism. It doesn't have to be true, so long as it sells papers. Just google or search engine Daily Mail Credibility to see the attempt at taking shots at something the poster hates -- a whole country.

Nice try.

Well the plan was to make Iran attack Israel and that failed. Then again Prince Philip did die and you know what his biggest wish was so.. Plus its in the illuminati card deck.

Just saw on TV that Denmark is going for a three party plan which means all of those whose jobs are affected by this will be compensated or something.

Wtf do you mean by divisive tactics? I think a moron made a selfish asshole decision and is making an entire country look dumber than it already looks. Never did i provide a dailymail link because daily mail wasn't my source.

Maybe US should stop making stupid decision if it doesn't want the rest of the planet to take "shots" at it.

Okay then. But one single publication has reported this in De Welt, from Germany. They say Trump is trying to poach scientist in the company which also work in Boston. Germany itself is trying to create their own company but from my vantage, nothing is stating they are willing to give it to the world, nor are there any sources outside of Germany (unnamed at that) which is claiming the US is trying to corner the market on it. It is also worth noting which country could mass produce it for all with their current labs and production abilities in mind. All of the articles on this are using one outlet's unnamed sources as of now. So I think you twisted things a bit by not offering up the company which is creating it is in fact in the US and Germany according to the links you provided. You are always so quick to point how dumb Americans and their leaders are, so may I ask you what country gets things right in your eyes? Now back to the toilet paper crisis:) And yes there are some dumbed-down Americans just like there are dumb people in ALL countries.
