I have family that live in Sweden and they have never mentioned anything even remotely close in regards to the country being a "war zone". The only thing they have ever complained about is the taxes being too high which impedes their business from growing. When you look at murder rates across Europe, Sweden is well behind many others. In fact the European countries with the highest murder rates, are countries with VIRTUALLY NO IMMIGRATION.

Countries like Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norhern Ireland, Albania, Macedonia all have higher murder rates than Sweden.

Ukraine and Russia are much much higher. Sweden's murder rate is actually quite low. Go look at the tables for yourself.

So Donald Trump is complaining about "the horrors" of Sweden when his own country has a murder rate 5 times higher.

Again this is nothing but a xenophobic attack on immigrants and brown and black people.

Sweden is only chosen as "an example" because they have taken in the highest percentage of refugees. Yet the propaganda does not add up because their murder rate is still very low and is much lower than other countries who haven't taken in any refugees.

Heck even the country I live in Canada has a murder rate of 1.8. So we are even quite a bit higher than Sweden, and Canada is know as a peaceful place.

The sweden narrative is Xenophobia plain and simple.

It is a coordinated propaganda attack by the far right, and they used South Africa as well to scare people about what will happen when countries get "overrun" with immigrants, and when non white people get political power (South africa)
