I appreciate what your saying.. I just see it differently.
I do not see her as dishonest. The whole Native American thing - if she didn’t truly believe it why on earth would she go take a dna test and release it? I’ve told people my whole life I’m 100% Italian, my brother does his dna... and we aren’t. I wasn’t lying, just misinformed.
She faught hard for Wall Street reform and continues to do so. She isn’t the only member of the senate and she isn’t responsible for how other people vote - and gut the provisions she had previously successfully put in place.
Even the thing with sanders... I can 100% see them having a conversation as friends where he sat down and told her a woman wouldn’t be president. Not in a sexist way but as a realist. As a woman, an ambitious overqualified woman especially, that is a bitter pill to swallow. I’m STILL having a hard time swallowing it myself and the presidency is no where in my personal sights. The second I married a felon any political ambitions I had were DOA. The subsequent nonsense that ensued between their respective followers after that is just again, nonsense. The day that story broke I donated to both campaigns and told everyone to shut the hell up.
I’m sorry tulsi isn’t getting the attention or consideration she deserves. That’s mostly to blame on Hilary and the same neoliberal establishment that has been coming for sanders AND warren as well. Plus, she’s a woman. And as a woman I’m having an extremely uncomfortable reckoning with what exactly that means in this country the last couple days...
