And swing states don't want more. Border states are split because of all the non whites who have already gotten in those states. I think we all know how whites in Arizona feel about the issue by and large.
I think your racist bias is causing you to lose your connection to reality. Republican voters in Arizona might still be supporting Trump. However, by 2018, Arizona went from being a Republican majority to a Democratic majority that was already being discussed as a possibility by an Arizona opinion article before this became a reality.

So, Arizona has the potential to swing blue in November too.

Your campaign for Trump is fascinating. Trump won because Hillary lost entirely. Trump does not have the support that you think he does nationwide. In the last election, there was a rise in the Libertarian movement because both candidates sucked. There were articles that were published afterward that the Libertarian vote is what tilted the scales in Trump's favor. In particular, the Libertarian vote was blamed for Trump winning Florida. There honestly could be some truth to this. People hated Hillary and Trump during the last election and the LIbertarian party had one of the best turnouts that they have ever had last time. If this election turns out to be a two-party race instead, it will end up being a very close race.

Trump's message may have been "clear" on a couple of issues. However, they were the most absolutely ridiculous issues, like building a wall. His talk about the wall he was going to build is some pretty good evidence that Trump may be suffering from some dementia himself. It was one of the most ridiculous political talking points that have been introduced in my lifetime. Not surprising in the least that this wall has not manifested yet because it was one of the most ridiculous political talking points that have ever been introduced into our presidential debates possibly ever.

So it may have been "clear," but being clear does not mean this was some sort of demonstration of intelligence.
His clear message was that America is great. What was Hillary’s? What’s Biden’s?

Of course it does because of the influx of nonwhites. I'm not your typical dumb boomer Republican.

lol, that is what you call a clear presidential message? Something that has nothing to do with any kind of policy or accomplishment that he can reference? Yeah, Biden has a good chance of being competition for Trump. However, the only chance Biden has to win is against someone like Trump.

The messages were clear. Buy American/hire American, end stupid wars, end bad trade deals, anti immigration. That was the core of the campaign.

I think you are not familiar with the actual demographics of the borders states. You see, the border states have had large nonwhite populations for a very long time. For at least as long as I have been alive, they have been relatively the same. The populations have gone up overall, but racial distribution has not changed significantly unless you have some statistics that you can present to support your argument. So your suggestion that the "sudden" influx of nonwhite voters having anything to do with changing things at the polls, is entirely delusional.

Ask anyone from Texas whether they want to eat Mexican food in Idaho and they will tell you no, because the Mexican food in Texas is well known for being delicious and this is because there has always been a large population of Mexicans in these states. Idaho does not have this same advantage and will have to go to Texas for good Mexican food.

And there is not one thing among the things that you have listed, that he could really stand behind in a campaign that he has truly accomplished. This will be a problem for him. I support buy American/hire Americans. However, even I can see that Trump's message in this regard is a bunch of hot air, and there has been no significant improvement from either his action or his message in the past four years specific to this.

Well, quite frankly, the culinary culture within Mexico demonstrates significant intelligence. There is a lot to learn we can learn from each other when there is an appreciation of different cultures. Mexicans make a significant contribution to American culture and have for a long time, which was the point.

The food is good, but the history of Mexican food in Texas demonstrates a longstanding, large Mexican presence within the state. This is not a recent influx.

I don't disagree with that. The Obama administration has an ever shitter record though.

I like Mexican food but I'm not willing to throw away the principles the country was built on for it. Was flipping the channels and saw some talent show on, this kid was dressed in a sombrero and full Mexican garb singing some song in Spanish. That pisses a lot of people off.

How on earth would something like this piss a lot of people off when it is something that is reminiscent of Spanish culture that exists as part of Europe. You know Spain is in Europe right?

They wear sombreros in Europe? It's the fact these people refuse to assimilate. If you love your culture and language so much, stay in Mexico.

Texas was Mexico.

There is no homogenous "American" culture. America has always been a mix of cultures.
Yeah and they fought a war to get away. Now we're giving it back. Until 1965, it was pretty much enshrined in law America was to be Europeanin makeup and culture. European immigrants believed in assimilating and honoring the people and traditions that built the country.

Hillary had tons of support all across the board. So to say Trump won because of her is shortsighted at best. The liberal media controls what the Democrats hear and think and they shit the bed. These are the same people who thought Trump was a joke, and then they went and convinced everyone else he was a joke too. Then they gassed him right into the white house.

They gassed us all along the way. And that shit is starting to piss me off. It's like they treat us all like we are sitting in a garage together all huffing on paint fumes. That's how the media sees us, as a bunch of idiots who deserve to get gassed.

small-minded, xenophobic little b!tches are so easy to manipulate. It’s no wonder the GOP panders to them.

Well.. I could barely sleep last night. Woke up this morning and contacted sanders local chapter and volunteered my time between March 20-April 20th (I have a break from school).

Yes, it always looked like the establishment would ensure some way, some how that Biden was the nominee. That doesn’t make it okay or a good thing. I went over his website last night and he is proposing absolutely nothing. I can’t even figure out what his message is. The only reason to run him is to ensure that either trump wins again or that the corporate Dems are protected if he doesn’t. This isn’t what’s good for the country or the people and I’m kinda tired of watching this play out personally..

I had sworn I’d never vote and kept that promise until the 2016 primaries when sanders ran because I refused to vote for the lesser of two evils - his campaign was the first time I didn’t feel like that was a choice I had to make. This country can’t sustain more of the same for much longer.. and I hate how politicians play on fear - on all sides - to ensure we stay stuck here while the rich just keep on pushing things through to advance themselves at our expense.

@weskrongden no Pennsylvania didn’t vote yet but you can look at their voting record and the fact that so many support trump to see they are also mostly “low information voters” - the white population here is a super majority, in many places it’s over 90%, some places it’s like 99%... so what is their excuse here?

And yes many people here are worried about immigrants but it’s due to fear mongering. Not any real threat to their livelihood. There aren’t any immigrants around. The bigger threat to the people of Pennsylvania is offshoring and lack of investment, infrastructure, and shitty labor laws/right to work. If they were HIGH information voters they would know this rather than patching onto immigrants as scapegoats when regionally this isn’t even a factor.
