Many fans suspect jungkook made a deal with the devil to get his “euphoria” or to save jin



But yet fans suspect tae maybe the devil

Almost as if he’s looking at tae through the keyhole


Both are wearing a “mask”

I find this really creepy this didn't happen to the other members and suga willingly walked up to him in fire I don't know why Jungkook is shown to the special one or different from the rest since he was forced to meet this guy.
The keyhole scene also reminds me of Alice in Wonderland which Jhope references in daydream and this:

I'm reaching but it would be nice if at some point in their career (like in another/later come back) they can follow this storyline that will lead to some kind of redemption (not a sacrificial one). Like it was mentioned.. they made a deal with the devil, the consequences of that deal is shown, and so on and so forth.

Just my wishful thinking though. I know it's not gonna play out like that.

The fans see this type of concept and don't think something creepy is going on?

We already saw Yoongi shaking hands with the the devil in "Fire" and then all of them going to a party full of hooded men

we saw the hooded men again in Not Today chasing them and also in Mic Drop nodding to the music (in the japanese version you have a huge hooded man controlling them while they danced)

and now in this teaser we literally see all of them making a deal with the hooded creature. It can't get more obvious than this tbh

Everyone traded something Jimin traded a picture and got an umbrella Hoseok traded chocolate and got a cake Namjoon traded a mirror and got a hairtie ect but Jungkook didnt trade anything but got a key does this means he trade his soul? #FAKE_LOVE twitter theory




Each member obviously traded something from their personal solo song short films to receive an object so could that mean they traded their individuality for the sake of their “love for music”

It's like many artists in hollywood and stuff..
First -> you have a dream, either becoming a singer or thirsty for fame or money
2 -> you work hard and try to be noticied by a label
3 -> you find one, you get a contract
4 -> but as the time past you realise that success have a price and that in this world you will have to sell your soul and make a deal with the Devil (which lead us to fire with suga and the hood guy)
5 -> you were still quite innocent at first even with the deal but realise the true dark side of the industry that often lead to depression, bipolar disorder...
6 -> regret and try to escape the Devil (maybe this explain Not Today)
7 -> but at the end of day you realise that the Devil always follow and watch you so you can't escape
8 -> you come back to the Devil because of the temptation of money and fame even if you know clearly the risk because they became addicted to what the Devil offer you (lyrics of bs&t) wich could possibly explain the fake love teaser ? ?

These are my thoughts too. You just articulated them better than I could. This seems to be the real "storyline" (if there ever was one) IMO.

I don't know if it's true because I'm not really familiar with those theories, but that's what I found in the comment section below allkpop article : Every member exchanged something and got another objet in return. Jungkook was pushed instead of going there willingly, and he had nothing to exchange. He was given the key then went to meet this creature wich I suppose symbolizes death. So I think based on the Euphoria theme and the last letter from Jungkook, that he is dead and is given a chance to come back to life again but for that he must make a deal with the devil. maybe it's worth looking into...
