Iam just afraid that the ones in Lebanon might end up as something more, since Lebanon is on "The List".I personally feel the worldwide civil unrest now unfolding is a result of social engineering. I don't think it's incidental that today we have people uprising against "the system" in numerous countries. It was meant to be this way.
How do you build society horizontally? What does that even mean?People are starting to wake up and realize that the game is rigged and the house always wins, which leads to a lot of angry people. They want change, but they don't yet realize it can't be obtained unless we tear to the entire rotten system down and rebuild society horizontally... Yet.
Of course, the powers that be want to make sure that never happens. Either keep the status quo, or have some right or left-wing authoritarian "populist" movement that ultimately still keeps the status quo.
How does that kind of society work then?Build a society with no bosses, leaders, or hierarchy.
How do relationships with friends work? How does doing labor with them work? How does that kind of society work then?
There always is a boss though..isn’t there? Not everyone can be the leader because there is always going to be a leader. How do relationships with friends work? How does doing labor with them work?
When I work with friends, there isn't a boss. A director, on occasion, when the job starts... But everyone is working. I had friends come over to help with the wood for winter... I told them what needs to be done and then I helped them with it. If I was a boss, I would have... You know, went inside while they worked. There always is a boss though..isn’t there? Not everyone can be the leader because there is always going to be a leader.
This is chaos and this will never work...might work for a certain (short) period of time, then chaos comes when true nature of men shows its real face, i.e. pride, greed, lust, envy, etc.Build a society with no bosses, leaders, or hierarchy.
So, you were the leader telling people what needed to be done...I don’t think you helped your argument here. When I work with friends, there isn't a boss. And we don't need leaders. Leaders are the cause of every problem we have.
Here's the thing... We need to evolve past our base impulses and realize that we can be more than we are. Otherwise, we'll just continually feed a cycle of death. All authority, assuming it lasts long enough, eventually lives to become tyranny... So at some point, we're going to have to tell ourselves (collectively) that we need to do anyway with authority. This is chaos and this will never work...might work for a certain (short) period of time, then chaos comes when true nature of men shows its real face, i.e. pride, greed, lust, envy, etc.
Apparently, you can't comprehend the concept of mutual cooperation. I wasn't a leader. I said what we had to do and we worked together to do it. At any time, they were free to leave. I had no authority over them. So, you were the leader telling people what needed to be done...I don’t think you helped your argument here.
It is a dream or rather some people's dream that will never come true. Here's the thing... We need to evolve past our base impulses and realize that we can be more than we are. Here in South América there is something called Foro de São Paulo, something like São Paulo Fórum. It's the seat of power of the South American left/communist/socialista/generally red stuff. Most of the things you see here are the results of this stuff acting. There was even a guy called marighella that wrote a handbook on "armed revolutions", they love to burn stuff, its all there in his book. But its creepy to actually see this and worldwide.
Have you ever lived in a non-hierarchical community? It's definitely the dream, the best thing ultimately. But in practice it isn't easy, we all have too many neuroses and problems to be able to live like that harmoniously. A dose of spirituality helps, "no gods, no masters" can get pretty chaotic. Here's the thing... We need to evolve past our base impulses and realize that we can be more than we are. Otherwise, we'll just continually feed a cycle of death. All authority, assuming it lasts long enough, eventually lives to become tyranny... Did you or did you not say you told people what to do? That would be a leader...Here's the thing... We need to evolve past our base impulses and realize that we can be more than we are.
