That’s not state capitalism you twit. Real communism has FAILED. Real world communism has FAILED.
State capitalism’s is when the state controls the means of production. Communism is when the people control the means of production. Simple concept.

No it’s the the state undertakes commercial (i.e., for-profit) economic activity and where the means of production are organized and managed as state-owned business enterprises (including the processes of capital accumulation, wage labor and centralized management), or where there is otherwise a dominance of corporatized government agencies (agencies organized along business-management practices) or of publicly listed corporations in which the state has controlling shares.[1

Yes I took economics. Capitalism is when the means of production are controlled by private owners and goods are produced for profit. State capitalism makes the state and a dictator one big private owner of the means of production. Communism is when the people themselves democratically own and control the means of production and goods are produced based on the needs of the communities.

That’s state capitalism.
But in the us, the people can own the means of production by making businesses, etc. Communism (in the real world) has never worked because the state controlled all the means of production. Places such as the Soviet Union actually did try communism but didn’t work because someone will take over b/ it ignores human nature

That’s the hypothetical communism not the REAL WORLD communism
People have lived communally before. Entire cultures have lived this way.
But in the us, the people can own the means of production by making businesses, etc.
Capitalism requires private ownership and people have to sell their labor to another person who has control over the land and capital. Most people never get the wealth to own the means of production. The majority of people are used as tools for the rich, to make them money.

The Soviet Union tried state capitalism, not communism. Lenin said he was building state capitalism and that’s what he did. When the state controls the means of production then it’s not communism.

Then why did they have a communist party. And also you just don’t get it. How are you going to get 7 billion people to live communally again?

Lenin also said state capitalism to describe the Russian empire.

@mecca, I don't know why you're wasting your time with potato here, he is like a merry-go-round that never stops with the same old argument.

As for political parties, they don't change a thing because the system is the subject of banking cartels that control the economy with interest rates manipulation. The Federal Reserve is a private bank that masquerades as a government bank. It is neither Federal, nor a reserve.
As long as this parasitical entity remains, things will always stay the same. If a president actually tried to remove it, then a "JFK assassination" would happen again.

The US is 21 Trillions in debt. It cannot ever be repaid. Yet people don't even realize that. It's been doomed for a while now, so all the hand waving from the parties won't mean anything.

They claimed that their end goal was communism and they thought they could get there through state capitalism... or maybe they were just deceiving people and they never really wanted communism at all, either way... they did not do it.

Anarchists use the idea of dual power, which is the process of building alternative institutions outside of the state. People themselves can group together and help each other and exercise mutual aid and other good things without the use of the state or capitalism. You work together outside of the state and the communities you build might eventually be able to render the state obsolete.

And yet, Mecca never uses the same argument? Which is all based on fantasy.

Those are stupid inane untrue memes. I live in Canada and we're 50%/50% when it comes to socialism/capitalism. We're routinely being ranked as one of the 3 best places to live in the world. Also Nordic countries are more like 75%/25% socialism/capitalism yet their countries flourish. The problem with democracy and socialism is when countries get too big, which is when it fails because it just doesn't work on a large scale. But socialism does work as shown in those European countries.

Germany's starting to fail though. They don't check up on people as much anymore.
