They want a vessel that they can live out their twisted and perverted lusts through. Demons are the disembodied spirits of the nephilim giants. The giants are recorded in ancient texts as being incredibly vile and wicked. They were especially known for their practices of cannibalism, and sodomy. Demons have personalities and desires. Their nature or psychology is inherently wicked and perverted to the core. There are burial mounds in ancient cultures with tombs full of human skulls. This perfectly expresses how evil these beings are and how much they hate humanity.
