I’ve heard about this.
This is probably coming from Ezekiel 28:13 NKJV
“The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created,”
This verse is talking about Satan btw.

That’s right. One thing about Christianity is about having relationship 1 on 1 with Him. We feel Him. We taste Him.
I talk almost about everything to God because He is my Father! Christianity is about our intimate relationship with God. Like Father and child. That’s why the bible emphasise that a lot and Jesus taught us when we pray, we call our Father.

Our life journey and experiences will tell us a lot about God and our purposes according to His will. We will see God becomes even more real and mightier than when we first believe Him.
If you read Narnia, you know this part.

Yup and also this

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

What is life without God and His Word?
Agreed 100% Thank the Lord we have another one of his people to talk to me! I have 0 friends who are Christians, and I walk through high school halls with no friends at all. Everyone else has friends and a boyfriend, but I don't. That used to be a problem for me, but since my faith started growing, and my relationship with God got BEYOND better, I started realizing that if I have to suffer being alone throughout high school, then so be it because we all know who's more important than a mere mortal anyways. Also, Jesus did say we would suffer for putting our faith in him by losing friends and even family members. I've lost people who I thought were my friends because of this, and I'm totally okay with it.

Horrible place to ask about religion. Find a mosque, find a bible believing church, anywhere but here. Here will confuse you. If you don't have a foundation you will be led astray and Islam versus Christianity conversations will make you see participants in the convo very differently. Watched people convert and revert into messes on this forum, get attacked because they aren't enough of one religion or another, criticized for alternate beliefs, threads posted baiting the Christians or the Muslims, insults and arguments spilling into other sections.

It gets nasty I'll reiterate finding a King James Bible believing church that relies on the bible and doesn't have political agendas or find a mosque but no one here can tell you the right answer because you have to find it and live with that decision. They can throw facts, Scripture, Surahs, pictures, etc. around but they won't be living your life or your personal experience with God.

Nothing is better than being strongly grounded in your faith before engaging in these discussions because they go left fast and you don't really know if anyone here actually cares about you or just wants to proselytize. The majority probably really don't and having alternate beliefs or thoughts will get you kicked out the club while someone else in your former club is making bait threads and trying to antagonize people.

Find a physical place with physical people to guide and instruct you while you make your own decisions from experience with those faiths rather than asking a group pig randos worth unknown motives to help you.

The Bible indentified Jesus Christ as the only man who directly spoke the word of God. if that is the case then the religion he followed/practiced would be likely the correct and true one and if follows his disciples would have practiced the same. The disciples of Jesus were called followers of "The Way" in the Bible. The religion they followed was a sect of the Hebrew Faith that relied on the teachings and interpretation of the Torah as presented by Jesus Christ himself and recognized Jesus as the Messiah sent by God. Christianity, the religion started by Paul, is quite different from "The Way" and elevates Jesus as God himself as a member of the three headed God that was foreign to the monotheistic Abrahamic faith of the Hebrews. Hence the reason that Christianity became a mostly a Gentile religion.

Judasim does not follow the interpretation of the Torah that Jesus Christ followed and Islam was what I beleive to be a man's attempt to correct the faults of both Judaism (rejection of Jesus as the Messiah) and Christianity (false teaching of the Trinity) but rejects the work of the Messiah that was performed on the Cross.

So it's highly probable that none of the mainstream Abrahamic faiths are the one true religion. They all have their faults.
Hey Sock, you are not allowed in here lol.

I may not be the wisest person around but I'm always here to listen and pray for you.

I know it is hard when not having people with the same belief as us around.. While I'm lucky and blessed to have family, relatives and 90% of my friends are christians but there are times when i'm in a situation where I'm the only believer, it becomes uncomfortable and lonely so I will always invite and accept those who need fellowship in Christ.
And lastly, yes I agree with you.

Everyone's just gonna tell you that their religion is the best.
Christ is not a religion. It is a rebirth of a new man in Christ to be raised up with Christ to the Fathers house. Christ is the ONLY DOOR TO HEAVEN, There is no other way. Many try to climb over the fence, but they will be CAST OUT! The only other door is to the bottomless pit of a fiery hell for those who reject the Savior of the world. Jesus is not a religion, He is life everlasting.

I am at a point in my life where I don't know what to believe or who to follow. Every religion states it's the only true religion, I am in fear of choosing the wrong path (religion) or going to hell. What are your thoughts?
Good day and good wishes.

None of them (organised religions).

The only religion anyone should follow is the religion of Truth.

Peace be upon you and within you,

bible student.

Thank you so much! It must feel nice to talk to someone who has a relationship with Christ in person. I am thankful I can talk to people online, but I wish I had someone to talk to who has a relationship with Christ besides my family. My parents raised me to believe in God, and it was up to me to repent and do my part, and so I did! But it gets pretty lonely only talking to my family and people online. Most people at school always listen to blasphemous music, and you know because of that music, they act like they're all that, and all of this drama, fights, a lot of cursing, inappropriate conversations, it gets me tired y'know?

Sad thing is, (Yeah I don't mind saying this out loud so people can see, but I won't say much because this is supposed to be a thread about religion lol) my one friend who's Catholic questioned God, I told her about him, this is what she said:

"Oh where's God? I don't see him!" In a mocking tone
"God always F**ks up my life!"
"I prayed and he didn't answer!"
"It's so boring reading the Bible"
"Is there really a God?"
"It sounds boring to talk to someone who doesn't exist"
"I ain't bowing my knees for NO GOD!!!" And then she laughed at the end.

I'm actually wanting people to see this so that they can notice how many people have hatred for God for absolutely NO reason! And the main "reason" for them is because, "God wasn't there for me when so and so happened. And since it happened, it's GOD'S fault!" People always blame God. But example, if your parents got divorced, is it because of what's between them, or is it because of God? It's because of what's between them. God can't tempt anyone or be tempted, and he wouldn't ruin anyone's life for no reason as sin is an abomination to him anyways.

The only thing God would do is "give them over to think in such a way" If someone blasphemes God's name, and never repents, God says he will just give them up and allow them to think that way", which is sad. We humans are his creation, and the majority of people are going to hell anyways. It's only like a couple of thousands-millions who will end up going to heaven. "The straight path leads to salvation, few will find it, but the narrow path leads to destruction, many will find it" Because people continue in their sin and blaspheme God.

Well, take this for consideration, anyone besides the person I am replying to.

The OT saints were not Christians, They were friends of Christ (James 2:23; 2 Chr. 20:7; Abraham was called the friend of Christ). John the Baptist was the last of the OT saints and was called the friend of the Bridegroom (John 3:29). God promised Abraham that He would be a blessing to the world through his linage (meaning The Christ) Gen. 12:1-3)
whether Prophet or saint, Abraham (peace be upon him) called people toward worshiping One True God, without son/daughter, mother/father , cousins, associates, helpers etc...

“Sh'ma Yisra'eil Adonai Eloheinu Adonai echad.”

“Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One”

View attachment 22166

"In modern Hebrew, echad is a word for the number one. Etymologically, however, it is related to the word yachad, together. When it is used for two people, like a man and a woman, it signifies their action of becoming one, not a static or passive unity.
why then the Hebrew speaking Jews never understood that ?

why dont they believe in three gods = one God ?

All prophets had one mission, one message that: God is One.

none of prophets/messengers before Jesus (peace be upon him) died for anyone's sins and neither Jesus did. why all of a sudden all the prophets' message changed from being righteous and asking for forgiveness in case of sin into "do whatever you will Jesus will pay for your sins"?

"We did not send any messenger before you except that We revealed to him that, “There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.” (Qurʾān 21:25)

"Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me" (Qurʾān 21:92).

I agree that God is one. But the work on the cross that Jesus did is not what you have stated here. Jesus died on the cross to defeat the power of sin over mankind. By faith in what he did on the cross we can overcome sin. The work on the cross is not license to do whatever. The work on the cross was so that we could be freed from the power of sin and empowered to live righteously. Sadly most Christians do not understand this, hence the reason Muslims who engage with Christians do not understand the true purpose of the Messiah's work on the cross and therefore (rightly based on the common explanation given them) deny it.

John 8:34-36 New King James Version (NKJV)

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Through new birth and adoption, I am now counted as a son of God. Not free TO sin, but free from the dominion of sin.

They all have heads, no need to be sarcastic. I just didn't understand how you described it. I'm always used to saying "Holy Trinity" Or what I said to your reply. Sorry for not being smart.
Please forgive me, I was not trying to imply you were not smart. Sometimes sarcasm is the easist and most efficient way to point out the absurdity or illogical/irrational nature of a concept. In this case the irrational concept of the man made Trinity doctrine.

I.e. if God is really three in one, and all three have a head, then the "Christian" God is a three headed God. Sounds kind of silly when put that way doesn't it?

If the Trinity is real, it is unlike anything else. This alone doesn’t disprove the concept to me though, as God is unlike anything else and I have always felt comfortable in the understanding that 1x1x1=1.
