Which religion is really true and which isn't?

I understand that @friend

I simply don’t agree that your conception of Hinduism equates to the Biblical understanding of the Trinity as it is qualitatively different to the amalgamation of numerous mini-deities of varying and often capricious character.

Take the Athanasian Creed - these attributes could not possibly apply to the Hindu gods.

“...That we worship one God in trinity and the trinity in unity,

neither blending their persons

nor dividing their essence.

For the person of the Father is a distinct person,

the person of the Son is another,

and that of the Holy Spirit still another.

But the divinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is one,

their glory equal, their majesty coeternal.

What quality the Father has, the Son has, and the Holy Spirit has.

The Father is uncreated,

the Son is uncreated,

the Holy Spirit is uncreated.

The Father is immeasurable,

the Son is immeasurable,

the Holy Spirit is immeasurable.

The Father is eternal,

the Son is eternal,

the Holy Spirit is eternal.

And yet there are not three eternal beings;

there is but one eternal being.

So too there are not three uncreated or immeasurable beings;

there is but one uncreated and immeasurable being.

Similarly, the Father is almighty,

the Son is almighty,

the Holy Spirit is almighty.

Yet there are not three almighty beings;

there is but one almighty being.

Thus the Father is God,

the Son is God,

the Holy Spirit is God.

Yet there are not three gods;

there is but one God.

Thus the Father is Lord,

the Son is Lord,

the Holy Spirit is Lord.

Yet there are not three lords;

there is but one Lord.

Just as Christian truth compels us

to confess each person individually

as both God and Lord,

so catholic religion forbids us

to say that there are three gods or lords.

The Father was neither made nor created nor begotten from anyone.

The Son was neither made nor created;

he was begotten from the Father alone.

The Holy Spirit was neither made nor created nor begotten;

he proceeds from the Father and the Son.

Accordingly there is one Father, not three fathers;

there is one Son, not three sons;

there is one Holy Spirit, not three holy spirits.

Nothing in this trinity is before or after,

nothing is greater or smaller;

in their entirety the three persons

are coeternal and coequal with each other.

So in everything, as was said earlier,

we must worship their trinity in their unity

and their unity in their trinity.”
mini god#1 + mini god#2 + .......... + mini god#300 = 1 god

that is your logic applied on Hindu gods

Would you therefore conclude that it is your personal goodness that is the important thing? Do you therefore concede that if @friend as a Muslim is more devout than you, and more committed to goodness, they will by more likely to inherit eternal life than you?

If not, why not?
Islamic stance about salvation is clear:

1 - do rightous works (even that is a blessing from God on you)
2 - repent from sins (even that is a blessing from God on you)
3 - believe that it is God's mercy and blessings not your deeds that would bring salvation.

I’ve had time to watch a few now - I found this one particularly interesting with respect to our previous discussions:-
Satan quoted bible verses to try tempt Jesus into testing God.

A lot of people quote the bible with an agenda of willful deception or unwillful ignorance. To truly understand the Scriptures of God and interpret His prophecies correctly one must be moved by the Holy spirit.

I think he might have made a better point by saying that a text without context is a pretext and encourage the viewers to read widely and deeply into the Bible.

That might be but he is right you know.

Satan quoted the bible and so does his ministers... and unfortunately earnest christians might regurgitate this.

1 Corinthians 12 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

It is clear that God has put restrictions on the theology of the impostor god of Islam... so as to not allow a collective criminality in the name of a false religion.

I imagine very well the Devil and God coming together to debate the terms about what Allah that is the Devil was allowed to demand and not from his followers.

Satan, when he quotes the Bible, tends to misrepresent doctrines and take only snippets to prove his points. Time spent on this board interacting with those who follow him should give something of his modus operandi away.

The bible can be abused to prove a point.

This is done willfully by Satan's ministers... and so by listening to them one might believe them and regurgitate their doctrinal errors on forums like this.

His ministers might appear as esteemed ministers of righteousness... but they are actually fleecing while deceiving the flock into wrong doctrines.

...which is why it is vital that we spend time in the Word and learn to hear the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I pray the Lord continues to bless and guide you @TokiEl

Yes spend time in prayer and the scriptures and doing good works and not listen to this and that minister preacher pastor...

Since i was not brought up by any church doctrine i was a blank canvas for God to work with.

All i had was a hunger for God and that was enough... He took over from there.

God bless and keep you as well. From here to forever...

FAITH in the power of God's blood.
The spilt blood of God remove sins from the repentant !

Matthew 4 17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Luke 24 46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Islam is a religion which calls mankind toward monotheism, worshiping One True God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad.

Imposter means : an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship. In Islam there is neither an image of God nor anything representing Him, because He does not need nothing.

Allah means God in Arabic language,
In Hindi it is Bhagwan
in Persian it is Khoda,
in English it is God,

Devil or Satan in English
is Shaitan in Arabic
and Ahreeman in Persian

Say what you want about me, I can prove what I say from the Bible.

“Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”.....Matthew 5:11 KJB
Good one Claire! I'll have to remember to use this the next time you tell me I'm not saved or don't beleive in the Bible LOL!

its ok, Trinity brings such confusion.
I’m sure you will admit that the Qur’an goes to great lengths to try to emphasise how inexplicable the Trinity is and how attributing such characteristics to God is a grievous offence. For a Muslim versed in the spiritual dangers of “Shirk” it would genuinely be a thought crime with eternal consequences for you to even consider the idea. I didn’t fully understand this when I first came to the forum, but I do appreciate it more now.

I think it is for this reason that in Muslim countries like Iran, there are many people who are coming to Christianity after visions of Jesus following prayers to God to help them understand the truth.
