Elle (2016), a woman who is sociopath, loveless, manipulates everyone, including her child, cheats and abuses everyone. But she looks fascinating. Makes me feel like she's a character I'd like to meet and be around. Not the other features, but I feel envious of her callous and not seeking help attitude.

i draw the line in supporting any ''product'' financially. for example, kevin spacey is a very good actor, but hes human garbage. ill watch a film with him in it, but never would i pay to see it.

We pay when we listen on Youtube, they get a share from advertisers. In fact, even when we search their work (artist - art product) on the search engine, this is a form of payment. Searching also raises their songs in the charts. But I stopped thinking about these. I want/must to know them. It's enough to do this with the least premium.

well, i think that depends on how strict the person is with his/herself. this goes right back to the "good, better, best" philosophy that applies to everything today. for example, with food/nutrition, you can say that good is to cut out all processed foods, better is stop eating anything GMO, and best is to grow everything yourself. everyone should do the best they can.

with respect to music, using my adblocker and VPN, i will have downloaded any given song once from YT, ideally from a low- subscribed channel and then saved it somewhere. its all 70s and 80s stuff, and none of the chart traffic applies. the 1920s jazz i listen to absolutely does not apply since its all from the original phonographs. i listen to nothing new-- is there even new music?

back to the movie aspect of guilty pleasure for a moment: when watching any film, ill point out to whomever is watching with me that this or that person is a hollywood pedo. i use any film to remind myself, as an exercise, as to who these individuals are.

The video recommended to more people is watched by more people who don't use ad-blockers. If there is a sponsored product in the content of the video... When the work is watched more, the company they work for is persuaded to do new works with those artists. There are so many ways to give a premium to the industry.

Ya, you can argue that, but when you see them delete 1000's of views from videos they don't like and add millions to those they do. Such as the white house channel. I've personally seem them delete 20, 30k dislikes from those videos.

Think they'd get 3 million views in 1 day? I'm sure many are brainwashed and watch CNN to this day, maybe 20, even 30,000. But 3 million? No way, CNN is the laughing stock, to the point where CNN+ failed in 2 weeks after they invested $300 million into it.

Surely you know this? What is trending is what they want to trend because they can and do manipulate everythying. From the likes to the views to even the comments.

Doesn't matter if you browse the internet for 5 minutes or 5 days solid. Ad blockers run constant across all websites. You have to actually turn them off.

Since ad's today can install malicious content I suggest you block all of them. Actually, using a java script blocker like No script is the best, but they do have a learning curve.
