Dang, man! The DJ just said that it was 39 years ago that we all found out that John Lennon had died. I can still remember this album underneath the tree because my older sibling got it for Xmas. Listening to Yoko's song "Kiss Kiss Kiss" was tough, though. Just as pleasing to the ear as Andy's song "Mother" on the Synchronicity LP :
I'm not very tech-savvy, so I can't put his latest video here, but Pat Metheny's "America Undefined" from From This Place. He continues to expand the Fusion genre when others stopped long ago. In my humble opinion, a true master musician.
Also, from the world of Christian music, I discovered Matt Maher's Advent CD while recuperating from a heart transplant last year at this time. I have begun listening to more of his stuff lately. True artist.
