I've been listening to this on repeat. Where I'm from, the forests are supposed to be our brethren and what's been happening in the Amazon is kind of heart-breaking for me

The video came out just in time too

Salcâmii (they're a type of tree)

Lyrics:
This world is too small for all of us
Or maybe I just got here too late, probably...
Perhaps I should turn back
Since I was in a hurry to grow up, I found myself surrounded my madmen.
'Tis the age of communication, God, are you kidding me?
I've made it to the future but there's no one to talk to
I no longer know what or who is real
Hold my hand stay with me

I've been here since the time I should have taken my leave
I'm left all by myself trying to look normal
Time is flying without me on auto-pilot
Everyone thinks they're sane, when in reality...

Chorus:
The trees* have gone crazy
From so much spring
[or lack thereof]
They wander bare in the skies
With their soul exposed

The green forest got drunk
The birds are out of their minds
The trees have gone crazy

And you want me to behave?

And when no one can see me
I cradle my speckle of a dream in my palm
To protect myself from anyone
who'd change my spring into autumn.
And I'm beginning to realize
that maybe this is part of the process
I'm still left with a few close people, hopefully not because of self-interest.
I take advantage of every second to the full
It seems like only yesterday I was wasting time
and now it is chasing me

My mind flies everywhere
Over worries and over people I can't do with anymore
It flies and I get lost in the horizon
Word is, I've become completely crazy

*they're a type of tree that sways a little in the wind but I'm not sure what the English equivalent is because Google is giving me 2 answers

I'm also hearing James Brown's This is a man's world riff running through this. What do you think?

Yeah, I can hear that. Also a bit of Annie Lennox's version of "I Put a Spell on You" just a little bit.
I love that blues vibe.
