Looking back now, taking into account the current agendas in play, I think men were contractually obligated to look like women. It softened up us old folk to accept children/grandchildren who thinks gender us an option.

I am aware the song originally came from the
American band Sublime from their self-titled third album.

BUT ALSO!

This song also samples a line from George and
Ira Gershwin song "Summertime," from the 1935
musical Porgy & Bess. They share the
same first line: "Summertime and the livin's easy."

As well as a line from the Beastie Boys' "Slow and Low"
from their 1986 album License to Ill. The line that's lifted is,
"And when we do it like this, in the place to be."

But Lana's 2nd hand tune is the most chill...
