been thinking about zappa this week, (especially with restrictions in my area)

At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

Yeah Zappa was pretty based (except in terms of him being an atheist) and his political commentaries of the 60s and 70s is even more relevant now than then. Everything that he talks about on those early Mothers (of Invention) albums is amplified in significance in the 21st century, only terms have changed ever so slightly.

This Roxy Music concert from 2001 is a must see. It's amazing how they seamlessly blend the two very distinct eras of the band (1972-1975 and 1979-1981) to create one spectacular performance. Bravo!!
