Some of us won't live
In your mind's abyss
You say we're all bound
How do I get out?
Caught in the all-connected heart
I'm no saint, but I can tell the shades apart
That's where I start
We are not the same
You don't speak for me
All your matter's gray
My world is black and white
You ensured I do
See this world in two
How can I resign
To your faint through line.

Ever-fading
Giving weight to faith
This has been my call to wake
And breathe in the light of the day

No inception, not a sound
Break or fault line in the ground

When the devil comes

I was never a huge fan, but I consider myself pretty lucky to have seen Nirvana live. They put on a good show. The openers were Shonen Knife and The Breeders. (I always liked Kim Deal). Sadly, within a year of me seeing them Cobain was dead.
A buddy and I were going to drive to Minneapolis to see Nirvana but we watched a live video where Cobain was clearly out of his head and the performance sucked. We changed our minds and soon after Cobain was dead and Nirvana no more. Same thing happened with Led Zeppelin. Planning to go to Minneapolis and John Bonham dies. Oh well....got the vinyl and cds.
