She's not wrong. She's just questioning and wondering if she's the centre of the male gaze through Tyler's eyes.

Yeah, patriarchy is awful, but I don't think show was conveying any radical "feminism".
I can’t comment on this show forcing feminist ideals since I didn’t watch it completely, just pointing out the same woke dialogue they repeat everywhere.

I wouldn’t say the patriarchy is awful though, seeing how they built such powerful civilizations.
We are witnessing the crumbing of society due to weak men.

Teenagers are still just kids, basically anyone under 19 still is
Ehm, I disagree. Teenagers are teenagers, they're not mentally, physically, or emotionally the same or equal to actual children like 1-12 years old. That's creepy to say. And 18 year olds are legal adults who can do adult things, but I'm going on a tangent so I'll just move on.

What? How is that creepy?
The human mind is still developing and easily influenced at those ages. Teenagers in high school are still quite mentally undeveloped.
I guess you would also take offense to seniors who call 18 year olds “babies”
Sure, 18 years old have adult rights but many are still incapable

I know, but patriarchy for many, many years, hell even centuries have abused its power to inflict harm and mistreat women. As well as keep them under control by enabling misogyny.

What are the "weak men" you speak of?

So immutably true! Well said. I like you.

And although there are exceptions the majority need to be
monitored, yes and guided by PARENTS!
I understand there are exceptions.

Aren't there always exceptions.
I guess since there is we should deny the facts?

How does that make sense?
18 year olds are at an age where rash and immature decisions can be made
with a risk of higher irreversible consequences that can affect their life very early on.

Let's all get a grip here.

Yes, I agree on the abuse of power.

Are you not noticing more feminized men though? Many of my girl friends seem to agree on this.
If we still had more strong men then perhaps this mandatory vaxxing and other control restrictions wouldn’t have gotten so far.
We are in this mess since we have more weak men who are easily manipulated and don’t stand up.

True.
You do a crime at the age of 18 and you get adult consequences. Then you start thinking, “but I’m still young!”
Many parents would agree that their 18 year olds are still immature because they haven’t seen the “real world.”

I just believe it's creepy because when people say teenagers are children- 13-19 years of age ESPECIALLY 16-19 year olds, I'm thinking that they must believe actual children 1-12 are the exact same as 13-19 year olds which isn't true. So it's like when you look at teens, do you also see 5 year olds? Do you treat them like that? It's just off to me, but you know it's natural for older folks to see younger folks as children. My aunt calls my sister who is a grown adult "child" simply because she's decades older, so I guess that's just how it is.

You're right, teenagers are underdeveloped, but that still doesn't equal child? They're still more developed in all areas as opposed to an actual child.

I don't know, I just hope people who see teenagers as children don't treat them as if they're toddlers who are incompetent. That's when it would start to get creepy- to me at least. I remember seeing a video of a father treating his 16 year old like a literal 3 year old. That's why when people say teenagers and young adults are children, it feels disturbing.

Well, brain development wise you're immature. But you could very well be mature in your personality! I don't understand why people stereotype teenagers to be immature, petty and that's it. There's more levels to it. I used to get so upset when I was a teenager and people underestimated me on many things but I proved them wrong.

You're overthinking my comment but I get where you're coming from.

My main point was that 1-19 year olds are still easily influenceable by what they are watching since they are still developing.
Yes, there are different levels (baby, child, teen, young adult etc...) but the underlying theme is being undeveloped.
This is not to say that we shouldn't treat a person based on their age group. Teenagers would be treated with a different understanding than a literal child.

I am suspicious of any man that has a " man bun " hairstyle or ponytail. And also dreadlocks halfway down the back.

Based on posts demonstrating your knowledge of the world and life experience (i.e. harboring a belief in “The PatREEEEEEarchy!”) I would have guessed you were an indoctrinated, woke 12 yo.

Then again, not much difference between an indoctrinated, woke 20-something and a petulant child, so I guess I see their point: You are just as misinformed and can REEEEEEE just as good as any other feminist, and you’re only 17. Congratulations.

EDIT: Typo
