“On Jan. 14 at approximately 4:45 p.m. (Sanaa time), an anti-ship cruise missile was fired from Iranian-backed Houthi militant areas of Yemen toward USS Laboon (DDG 58), which was operating in the Southern Red Sea,” the CENTCOM statement read. “The missile was shot down in vicinity of the coast of Hudaydah by U.S. fighter aircraft.”

No injuries or damage were immediately reported during the operation, according to CENTCOM.

I read here, in a Russian media, a list, and it seems that the program for the coming months of the alternative media for intensive prophesying of a "military escalation" on the NATO/US/West-Russia axis is ready. Here he is:

January-February 2024. In Eastern Europe, there is a major NATO exercise, Firm Endorsement 2024, which will continue in May. The Winter 2024 exercise in Latvia and the Winter Camp 2024 exercise in Estonia with the participation of both the Estonian Armed Forces and NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence Group.

February 28 – April 21, 2024. The multinational exercise "Defender of Europe - 2024" will be held on the territory of Europe with the participation of 50 thousand soldiers, 700 aircraft and more than 50 ships.

At the same time, the Steadfast Defender 2024 exercise will be held in Germany, Poland and the Baltic countries, and the Arctic Dolphin 2024 exercises will be held in the North Sea and the Norwegian Sea.

In Norway, Sweden and Finland, the joint exercises "Northern Response - 2024" and the exercises of the Finnish Air Force "Vihuri - 2024".

February and April 2024. In Germany, the national exercises "Quadriga - 2024" with the participation of more than 12 thousand servicemen to work out (attention!) the mass transfer of German troops to Lithuania, Hungary, Norway and Romania.

May 2024. During the Big Quadriga exercise in Lithuania, the 10th Tank Division will practice joint combat operations with NATO mechanized units.


My prediction is that nothing will happen, but sites and channels will spew out tons of articles and videos, so they will work hard. If, however, "something happens", it could be a good occasion to mobilize the healthy male population in Europe and increase the mobilization (perhaps full mobilization) of the healthy male population in Russia. It's useful for "clearing" useless eaters, you know.
