Anime in general is pretty evil. All you see is perversion, lgbtq stuff, rebellious teens, abuse, severe foul language, lust, idolatry, all of that stuff. Anime is usually about characters with powers and drama and bad pasts and that's it ;-; as a lover of anime, trust that I'm careful of what I watch. As a Christian, I have to shield my eyes from wickedness although I need to learn about it but you know what I mean.

I feel like anime just makes people envious of what happens in whatever anime they're watching because you know, you see the characters with a dramatic bad past making friends, finding a lover, having powers. There's a joke that antisocial people and depressed people only watch anime (which isn't true) and anime can create a whole fictional place in ones mind making them confused with reality and fantasy which I'm sad to say, but it happened to me, and ever since then I've been confusing reality with fantasy. Asked for deliverance many times, and currently I'm partly delivered, still going.

But yeah, if anything, anime just makes your mind drift apart from reality in the most ruthless way.
We're on the exact same boat.
Becoming Christian you quickly realize anime culture is NOT appropriate and pretty much all of the topics &values, it uplifts are wicked and demonic. Like 99% of it can be flushed down the toilet at this point.
One of my favorite manga was Berserk and retrospectively I realize it's one of the most wicked and demonic manga I ever read (plus the obvious Christ/antichristic duality between Griffith and Guts). But I was also oddly fascinated by it.

I was a huuuuuge manga fan. And let me te you this culture you're right on the money about how it capitalizes on people feeling "envious" about characters. Most manga are about teenagers (never adults) who are with no real social or familial structure (ever noticed how parents were pretty much nonexistent in manga?) and are no bounded by society's rules or behavior. I get why this aspect is appealing for young people bc our current world is pretty scary, oppressive and expects so much from us, so anime is the perfect escapism from all of that. But this also create a whole generation of adults (25+ years old) who are still behaving like teenagers and are socially awkward because they didn't get over that stage and keep looking up anime as standard for idealized social relationships and personality.
Anime glorifies totally odd relationship dynamics & personality type (tsundere/yandere), predatory age gap (there's a whole trope in shojo of love relationship with teachers), and let's no forget how most female characters are pictured as forever childish, petite or kawaii - if not endorsing the yandere stereotypes of the sexually aggressive type... without pretty much nothing in between. Female representation in manga/anime is WICKED and it's shocking nobody is speaking out more about it. (the only good female characters are unsurprisingly in manga made by women ; Full Metal Alchemist, Sailor Moon, etc)

Anime culture is hyper derivative and reductive when thinking about it and I'm astounded whenever I see people arguing it explores so well human emotions when said emotions are stereotyped to oblivion. Call me when an anime expresses the struggle of finding a job, failing exams, helping your poor parents, discrimination, etc.. and without adding a layer of unecessary lovestories, battles, or superpowers... Anime rehashes the same things again and again. It's always extra and lacks subtleness.

That's why the solution IMO is to let go of ALL of these things. All these "[..] is full of evil symbolisms" with people gasping at all the toxic energy displayed by artists/scenes/cultures while keeping entertaining this stuff (= listening to their music/playing their games/watching their movies) is pointless and hypocrite.... How about stopping playing these demonic video games and lining the pockets of these studios? I mean, watch the hot mess the Kpop illuminati threads are.... Fans faking to be anti illuminati while not remotely one second to stop supporting celebrities pushing this agenda..... All this crap is really acting like a drug onto the mind of these people.

Here’s what I feel about video games and TV and movies too.

Anytime you “escape” into a fictionalized world, it becomes a part of you (at least for a little while). This has a HUGE impact on how you interpret reality because suddenly what you just watched, or what you just played, becomes a frame of reference used by your mind, to interpret and understand your world.

I used to be a huge movie watcher. I had a rough childhood so movies became a big escape for me. And I’m not saying it’s all bad because if your reference was good, well naturally it follows that that will affect you positively.

But I watched a lot of dark and twisted stuff.

And it’s not until I got older, and got away from all that that my mind was literally able to heal in a sense from that damage. Also I’m a Christian and I really believe prayer helped me to actually SEE what was going on.

But anyway, what I realized and hadn’t truly appreciated, was how before (and it still happens but not as often) I’d go through my day, encounter something or a situation or whatever in REAL life, but that it would make me recall a scene in a movie or character- and so now that movie has directly influenced how I interpret reality!

And this happened all the time. Especially if I had just watched something.

And absolutely the same would be true if I’d just played a video game.

I guess all I’m saying is that now I personally can understand and SEE how games can influence people- as well as movies.

That’s not to say one can’t separate reality from fiction- but I don’t think we always appreciate the sometimes elusive or subtle ways in which TV, movies and games shape how we view the world and how we interact with it.

But I absolutely believe those who produce this content do!

Here you are.

Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn. One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of the outside world they are forbidden from seeing.

Plot comes to satanic theme. Kids are growing there to be fed to demons.
idk if anyone else has already commented this because I haven't read the whole thread yet. It's been a while since I watched the promised neverland so I don't remember everything but I do remember that those demons eat children's brains. brains look like walnuts, which stand for persons of color, and walnut sauce means adrenochrome. maybe I'm reaching but it seems pretty plausible to me.

Well... let me introduce myself... I am a 41 yr old man with a long history in gaming. Started around 7-8 with the Atari 2600, and haven't stopped ever since. I even have a blog sharing some of those experiences... but it's in Spanish.

Anyways, don't even know how I got here; I was looking for some info and I have almost 2 hours now reading the thread, and it's pretty interesting. And I gotta confess, you guys gave me a lot of ideas of games to play. Hey, it's not ironic talk or bluff. There is much stuff in here that I haven't played simply because those are not my genres but there is now stuff that I'd like to try.

I am a gamer who likes pretty much racing, fighting games and some adventure games. I am a christian myself, and here's where most of you will bash me. I love God of course, and have my fair share of church stuff, Bible and all, but I keep games separated from it all and I do not over-analyze stuff like you guys do. I totally respect that, I am not criticizing anyone here for that. Please, bear with me. I just take games for what they are: fun... activities to kill some lazy time. Unlike a lot of disgraced fellas, I don't feel I am "enslaved" by videogames; I have a 9 to 5 job, I live alone so I have to cook, do the dishes, buy groceries, you get the picture. On top of that I have around 4 church meetings during the week that I always attend, for years. And I love that. I love reading the Bible, praying, having good fellowship with my good God. I do sports at least thrice a week... so don't think I am this fat nerd loser playing games from dawn to dusk.

I have ALWAYS loved horror themes. I watched The Exorcist (the original movie) when I was in sixth grade and I remember I could not sleep for days. I was terrorized of that girl speaking like a demon, floating, and all of that. That movie (I feel) was like opening a can of worms. There is something I love, and that is feeling scared. Weird, isn't it? I love watching horror movies, particularly, I love the sensation of feeling scared. Probably there is a release of adrenaline or some other weird substance, I dunno, but I love that state. I'm helpless. I am not looking for help, I am just sharing my experience. I watch many horror films, I am very excited for the upcoming Conjuring 3, and I am always looking for THE movie that will make me crap my pants.

Up until 2 or 3 years back I was really away from horror games. I knew of Silent Hill, the original one; a friend of mine played that game on the PS1, but I watched the game and due to its horribly poor graphics it was something rather atrocious to me. Got never interested. I always thought horror games were a joke. Then I downloaded Outlast to my Xbox One. I had seen some jump scare videos about this game on YouTube; that caught my attention and I decided to give it a try. One thing about horror movies. Whenever I watch that, I am completely alone at my house. All lights off. I try to create the most horrific and helpless atmosphere to have the media do the rest in terms of the scares... I don' know... it's like a drug addict (all of you might be thinking of me right now). Even with all this dark atmosphere sometimes the movies don't do any effect because they are very bad... poor acting, stupid effects... whatever. Anyways, when it comes to video games I try to recreate the exact same dark atmosphere to get the best of the experience; Outlast is definitely for me in another league. I remember playing that, running scared of someone pursuing me and since the game is much more interactive than a movie (in the movie you are just witnessing; in the game, you are pretty much living it) I was badly scared many times. I remember sweating my hands like I was sick, I remember trembling, feeling really bad about opening the next door and relive all the pursuits and horrible scares. Since I am tenacious at my gaming, I continued to play till I beat the game. Then it came Outlast 2, then it was the Whistleblower DLC which is pretty much scarier than both major games. I tell you guys, many times during gameplays of these three games I had to pause the game to catch my breath. I was scared to hell... but rather than feeling any uneasiness, I felt I found what I was looking for in gaming.

So then afterwards it's been downhill pretty much. I crave for horror games and have played several of them, but nothing to this day tops my Outlast experience. By the way, the second game has tons of religious imagery. It's pretty damn scary. Now I am interested in playing a game named Visage, which as far as I know it's even darker and scarier than Outlast. I want to buy it... but it's pretty expensive now... gotta wait for an Xbox sale ;-)

Guys, please... I am NOT mocking the subject, at all. I know there is heavy stuff in videogames. Tell it to me, I have more than 30 years playing all kinds of games. I played Agony, which is like a trip through Hell... but the game is so... poorly made. Sadly.

There are some videos that I found in this thread that I will watch, one by one. I saved the most interesting ones in my Watch Later playlist. Maybe I need to see this stuff through someone else's eyes, because I am too biased and as I said before, I am not looking for help because I find delight in playing that stuff. I'm not gonna lie. Do I think this world and particularly this particular entertainment is taken in full by the devil? Of course I do, I'm not arguing with that. The devil has infiltrated pretty much any activity that you want to try out. And at the same time, there is a whole lot of bad things in gaming, not only demonic stuff or symbols. Don't talk about sexualized characters; that got out of hand many many years ago. And that's why I don't invest time in anime... which is the other topic being discussed here. Much of the anime is about hyper sexualized girls and sexual themes that only kindle your internal fires. In regards to symbolism in gaming, I know there are pentagrams, triangles and weird shapes in many games.. I have played recent Wolfenstein games (which I love) and definitely, there is a heavy cult there, I totally feel it... but at the end of the day I just take it by what it is... another game. I don't know if developers are really trying to wash our brains or if they are just creating a setting to justify the senseless killings. I don't know... maybe I am super naive.

Anyways, sorry for the ultra long post. Just wanted to share my story with you guys. I'll be around, reading this very interesting thread. It's so interesting I just created a user name to participate ;-)

Very well said. I am in love with the horror genre of films. Being an atheist helps, (a spiritual one at that, but images of dark evil things don’t shock me the way they would if I believed in Christianity.) saying that, I have been finding it hard to fully enjoy a lot of films and games now a days, because even when the stories are rich, full of incredible characters and inspirational moments, it is usually tainted by something so subtle; yet works in our subconscious without even realising. But when it is more blatant, it becomes so much scarier.
Like the new ‘Saw’ film called.... ugh.

SPIRAL.

What the heck does anime about child-soldier veteran, working after war as postman who writes letter for clients, and has robotic hands have to do with the Roth-schild family and Nabuchonodosor II? I'm still not sure what to think of gematria, I feel like people overdo it sometimes, but it honestly surprised me how this match.

I really struggle to make a convincing connection. For a long time I thought this was one the most normal animes.
The most obvious thing probably has to do with mind control and delta programming, for the main character looks like victim of it right from the start. A child soldier with no emotions, fighting in war. Found alone as child on deserted island, couldn't speak, couldn't read or write, but was able to kill almost all soldiers who found her with bare hands.

A bit exaggerated, as usual in anime, but good way to point to special training/delta programming. The whole anime is basically about how she's changing after war and becoming more human.

Another possible connection I see is transhumanism. Look, this cute girl has robotic hands, how cool she is - or something.

If I wanted to be optimistic, I would suggest this could be a work that wants to spread hope to victims. Be it victim of mind control, veteran, or victim of any other difficult life situation? Showing a story of transformation, healing and finding purpose for living outside of being a tool for people of power. From that point of view it really would be sad, yet beautiful story. "You must live and be free."

Interesting facts connected to the anime:
1. the studio where it was made was set on fire by mentally ill man who blamed the studio for plagiarism (of a different work, not this one).

Interesting numbers there.

2. It's expensive animation masterpiece.
Because of limited resources and limited time usual practice is to draw everything as fast and as simple as possible, the less everything moves (hair, clothes, objects, ...), the better. But this anime is full of movement, lines and details - an animation nightmare. The studio is known for paying better than usual (animator job in Japan is terribly underpaid). This anime must have been expensive. I wonder, did somebody pay them to do it?

3. Violet Evergarden won the first, and still only, grand prize at the fifth Kyoto Animation Awards in 2013.

There is more ofc, mostly small things about people, their work and circumstances that might look insignificant by themselves, but they're definitely rising suspicion.

A documentary if somebody's interested in rant about how amazing the animation and animators are.
what link did you use for the gematria?

I am not into gaming but I am a casual Anime watcher and the fate franchise in particular is filled with too much occultic symbolism this one is like one of the top selling franchise in Japan and the symbolisms in this are horrifying I recommend everyone to stay away from this one

Magic circles based on Kabbalah images (16).jpeg
Command spells used to control spirits (demons)
images (17).jpeg

The story revolves around a bunch of magicians who are fighting to win the HoLy grail which is a magic device that has the power to grant any wish a total of 7 magicians take part in this war which is also referred in the anime as a "Ritual"
A list of occultic things in this anime because there are too many
1- the magicians perform a summoning ritual to call forth spirits called Servants these spirits form contracts with the magicians to fight for them in the war
2- Magicians association and the Holy Church is shown to be working together the church acts as the referee to decide the winner of the war and to cover up any deaths or sacrifices occurred during the war
3- Bloodlines the magicians come from powerful families the ability of a mage to perform magic is determined by their bloodline and each family has a magic Crest which they pass on to only 1 of their children if a family has 2 eligible children the other child is sacrificed or both have to fight between each other to gain right to the family's magic secrets.
4- In the visual novel and heavens feel movies they perform s*x rituals to replenish magical energy
5- blood sacrifices are shown the spirits called have to have a consistent supply of magical energy or they die so in one of the series the priest of the church kotomine kirei sacrifices human children from orphanages to collect mana (magical energy) for a spirit called Gilgamesh
6- Humunculi one of the families the einzberns is entirely made up of humunculi human like creatures who are created through alchemy to collect the souls of the servants as they die one by one in the war these humunculi collect the 7 spirits of the servants summoned for the war and at the end the humunculi's body is used as a sacrifice when the huminculi who has collected all 7 souls dies in a ritual called "heavens feel" they release massive amounts of mana which is used to open a portal to the other dimension and summon the holy grail this portal is a way to reach the "root" which is considered to be the source of all magical energy and knowledge in the world the holy grail war is a ritual to reach the root
images (18).jpeg
7- The magicians are all shown to be despicable humans with no moral values one of the characters sakura matou is sold to another mage family by her father her adoptive family abuses her and her grandfather implants Crest worms inside of her images (19).jpeg
These worms are kind of like male private parts and they molest the girl for 10-11 years violating her and sucking on her magical energy her own adoptive brother also regularly uses her for benefits and r*pes her and molested her monitored by her grandfather who implants a part of the holy grail (which has been corrupted after it absorbs "Angra mainyu" a satanic figure in zoroastrianism which was summoned in a previous war) inside her body the grail corrupts her turning her into a mindless murderer who snacks on humans to replenish her mana in the games there are allusions to Pregn*ancy as the "Angra mainyu" or satan which is inside her is compared to an unborn child from illicit relations. The priest wants to bring the Angra Mainyu in to this world and for that they want to use the girl as a sacrifice which will open portal to another dimension which will make it possible for the angra mainyu to manifest into this world.
8- Kabbalah and gematria are considered branches of magic which are regularly practiced by mages
9- The mages try to hide their identities because the govt would persecute them if they learn about their rituals.
And there are others but I will leave it here because this is getting too long

The Book of Hours is laden with occult imagery, to be expected given it's setting is an occult library.

BOOK OF HOURS is an elegant, melancholy, combat-free RPG set in an occult library, from the makers of BAFTA-nominated Cultist Simulator and the creator of Fallen London and Sunless Sea.
BOOK OF HOURS was partially funded with the support of the European Union's Creative Europe Programme - MEDIA. Thank you, Europe! We love you, and are very grateful. ♥
Hours / Horus?
Media / Medea

Bafta nominated...

This poster promoting the British Academy Film Awards is quite symbolic. The light comes from “above” (which can represent the elite), goes through one eye (representing the industry) and ends up on a tiny little person. Who is this tiny person? You. Completely in awe towards this light…Unless you’re a vigilant citizen.

This thread is very cool because it's nice to see people from many background sharing about their experience with anime and/or gaming culture and the effects it had on our life! It's nice to see fellow Christians too ; we need to support each other <3

Thank you for your testimony and welcome!!:D

I am Christian too, and you know what? quite some time after I got Saved I kept indulging in horrror movies (I stopped gaming quite a while before because I somehow grew out of it but loved gaming horror like Silent Hill and Resident Evil). I was still new in the Faith and was still into that phase were I didn't grasp how casual sin could be. However, I think God tried to give me a strong warning after an horror film that I had just watched (I won't tell which one it is for obvious reason). The night after I watched that movie, I had a dream of that very same demon trying to attack me. And the most troubling thing is that there were 2 "angels" (who were female-like bc they had these low ponytail with long hair) on each of its side, blocking the demon with their arms, with their back turned towards me. So I know that people could be like "oohh it's just your brain tricking you into dreaming of that demon because you just saw that movie" .....but why the angels? they weren't in the movie. What would have happen if they weren't there? When I woke up that day I knew it was a warning from God. Which was actually a blessing because being chastised by God is actually proof of his love. He really wanted to show me what type of energy you're bringing into our life when consuming these medias.
You made a parallel about drugs, that's exactly this. And the thing with drug, it's that it's only when you stop consuming them that you realize how toxic they are. Smokers have no issue smoking cigarettes, but me, a non smoker, cannot bear the simple smell of smoke and would probably lose my breath trying to inhale a cigarette. And actually, when people stop smoking they end up disgusted by cigarette and cannot comprehend how they could possibly appreciate smoking. When it comes to horror and sin, that's exactly the same : you don't realize how toxic it is until you stop entertain it. You stop giving excuse regarding how "not such a good deal" it is or how "you were doing just fine" when you realize how much easieir it is to breath and get back your taste bud.
And it's a true Grace that God chastise us to repent before we die, because there are not second chances once we are in Hell. No stupid video game deserves to lose one's salvation over. There's no "small sins" ; willfully engaging in sin deserves punishement. Just because people are doing they double life "in peace" means God is okay with that and that we won't have to take accountability for that. Truly, it's a best sign when God chastisse us to make up and avoid Hell, than when he lets us sinning and is done with us... (like he did with King Saul in his willing disobedience).

I tell you guys, many times during gameplays of these three games I had to pause the game to catch my breath. I was scared to hell... but rather than feeling any uneasiness, I felt I found what I was looking for in gaming.
What you're telling here is very concerning.:(
As Christians, we really should be honest and ask ourselves what draws us towards horror? the blood, the gore, the violence, the dread....? for what purpose? None of these are nurturing or honoring God. Why and WHAT would make us turn towards something so objectively dark and nasty when there are so many other harmless activities that don't involve technology of content handed down to us? It's depressing to realize whenever we talk about entertainment for most people, it has to involve being more or less passive before a screen... That's because screens have become the biggest tool for mass programming. While I agree that the internet is quite neutral as its effect depends on our own use we make out of of it, I feel to see any redeeming quality in games consisting of killing people and shoving us in a whole atmopshere of evilness and godlessness.

but at the end of the day I just take it by what it is... another game. I don't know if developers are really trying to wash our brains or if they are just creating a setting to justify the senseless killings. I don't know... maybe I am super naive
As someone who's dabbled into art, no entertainement material isn't just "another game/movie/whatever" ; these content creators are putting specific thematic into media to push an agenda. They are picked and chosen. Those AAA games are all about it... There's no wonder that for the last decade there's been such a big push about magic, superpower, sexualization of minors, etc.... Also many entertainers (producer, actors, writers) do channel demonic entitites to get inSPIRaTIon ("spirit") and pull out new material - none of what they do is harmless or a coincidence. There are testimonies of people who did NDE and been in Hell and saw "characters" of mainstream entertainment there (anime, movies...).
I think the demon I saw in my vision "from" movie was precisely a demon channeled (by the producers and incidently all the people who watched this movie) that God allowed me to "see" in the spiritual realm (few weeks later I would have to fight against demonic attacks from what I assume all the -other- demons I summoned by watching all these movies AFTER my conversion).

I do sports at least thrice a week... so don't think I am this fat nerd loser playing games from dawn to dusk
Gaming has become mainstream since a while now and the old cliché of the gamer as loser nerd in his mom's basement quite is outdated...
That being said, going to church isn't a pass for entertaining sin into your life. Modern churches are a mess : there are fornicators, double mindedness, false prophets and greediness over there. Plentiful of double minded false convert go to church. Going to church doesn't Save. Reading the Bible doesn't Save (atheists do read the Bible all the time to "debunk" it and they're not Christians...). You cannot serve two master. Jesus said if we love him we have to follow his commandements, if we engage in sin, regardless of what we SAY, we don't "love" him.

I really hope I don't come off condescending. I personnally struggle myself with sin that's why I utilize the "we". But what's important is to stop putting up excuse and aknowledge sin for what it is. Too many times I see christians saying stuff lik enjoying shows with magic or glorifying witchcraft (Harry Potter, Marvel) aren't that much of a deal..... The fear of God is non existent. We truly are in apostasy. People claim being Christian but behave like unbelievers in their everyday life SMH Hell is real. Sin is death. No argumentative gymnastic will manage to overhaul what the Bible explicitely states as being sinful. Nothing in the world deserves to end up in hell - even our silly entertainment.

Shamans were tribal healers and teachers, predessors of those who were named wizards (wisdom) in medieval times. My ancient culture has come from shamanic one.
Please inform people correctly about satanism, don't offence ancient cultures throuing "sin" ESPECIALLY if you don't familliar with them. If you want to read Bible please don't throw your rudeness for those who have different culture.

I am from Africa, I think I have a proper clue about our "ancient cultures" and "tribal healers". That's MY culture originally. Actually I went to see a shaman when I was in Kenya. Stop assuming things on people just because you don't like what they have to say. I know what I'm talking about...
I am no expert in satanism but can tell you some things about it. It's not "rudeness" to point out sin for what it is.

Deus Ex has been discussed here before (first page) based on its inclusion of the Illuminati and transhumanism, but I want to add something, with respect to Human Revolution in particular, and how it correlates to current and impending events. In the game, released in 2011 and set in 2027, the 'augs' (those with technological augmentations, i.e. people who have a biochip, i.e. trans-humans) are advised by the WHO to get a biochip replacement after the 'augs' start to experience glitches. This recall is done in order to make the trans-humans remotely controllable through electromagnetic (EMF) means. They are made to go crazy but implicitly they could be shut down as well.

More on this from the Deus Ex wiki:

They are doing it in Real Life -- MK ULTRA Survivor tells his story.

I dont have much photos to supply with my comment, but what about Final Fantasy XV? There is so much to the Final Fantasy games, but XV the first one I actually paid attention too. I watched a lot of the guy called Final Fantasy Peasant, and he's made so much analysis on FFXV, despite the story being... sorry, crap there is a lot of symbolism that the guy talked about that gets drowned out because we are too busy playing the side quests.

Especially with Chaos magic, the original FFXV originally FF versus 13 was going to very dark.
I saw XV gameplay and was disappointed enough to not buy it :D after more than 7 years of waiting it turned out worst than expected.
It's full of magic and elemental magic as probably every FF game. I don't remember any blatant symbolism, they're quite constant throughout series with borrowing the same names of monsters and gods from religions like leviathan, behemoth or shiva. So unique it hurts. (But in case of XV it could be because it was originally part of XIII, so names of monsters stayed the same? Who knows.)

But I played through FFXIII and FFXIII lightning returns (LR) and noticed some interesting stuff. Lightning is one of iconic FF characters, developers wanted to create female counterpart of Cloud from FFVII. Lightning as a symbol can be associated with satan, it was used for example on nazi uniforms as well as in KISS band name. In LR main background theme is checked pattern (masonic, good vs evil, duality), in game it represents chaos that swallowed almost whole their world. Lightning is in LR called the savior, she saves souls by granting them wishes, some people worship her, a heretic group wants to kill her and regularly kill women who looks like her (pink hair), whole game has a timer - countdown to the end of the world, 13 days. At the end Lightning and her friends fight the god of the universe, and after they defeat him, she leads all souls to the new world, new earth that looks like our world. A lot of Biblical similarities, but very twisted.

Official ingame song for Lightning, the savior of the souls. In game a guy sitting near cathedral sings it and plays it on guitar.

Gracious savior of our souls♪

Lightning leading her friends and other souls to the new world. Just a few moments after she said there is no place for god there.

The impression I'm getting from this is luciferian, masonic or similar agenda, and paying homage to satan.

Final fantasy XIII, Type 0 and XV (and probably also XIV) belong to Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries.
Wiki says:
"While featuring various worlds and different characters, each Fabula Nova Crystallis game is ultimately based on and expands upon a common mythos focusing on important crystals tied to deities. The level of connection to the mythos varies between each title, with each development team given the freedom to adapt the mythos to fit the context of a game's story."

Magic in these games is based on crystals, so to say that time of crystals is over means that times when magic was used is over.

Some examples:

(Teleportation crystal from FFXIV)

(FFXIII - when somebody completed specific assignment from gods, they turned the person into crystal statue and s/he could "live" like this many centuries, until turned back to human form again, usually to complete another assignment).

In FFXV the main idea was that MC Noctis can materialize different kinds of cold weapons from crystals, so he has spectrum of weapons in hand during a fight. If I remember correctly those weapons belonged to kings who ruled in the past before him.

You have to know that animated movie Atlantis made by Illuminati Disney containts crystal connected to human superpowers. Magic == superpowers.
Noctis -- Nocturnal. I forgot but it means "shadow" on Latin.
Teleportation
Also code word Red Door

Portal --> Doorway --> Red door -- > Vagina or Anus
