Venezuela Unpegs

While everyone's attention was arrested by the hurricanes and North Korea, Venezuela quietly unpegged.

"Venezuela is the 11th largest oil producing country in the entire world, and it has just announced that it is going
to stop using the petrodollar.
Most Americans don’t even
know what the petrodollar is, but for those of you that do understand what I am talking about, this should send a chill up your spine. The petrodollar is one of the key pillars of the global financial system, and it allows us to live a far higher standard of living than we actually deserve. The dominance of the petrodollar has been very
jealously guarded by our
government in the past, and that is why many are now concerned that this move by Venezuela could potentially lead us to war.... The government of this oil-rich but struggling country, looking for ways to circumvent U.S. sanctions, is telling oil traders that it will no longer receive or send payments in dollars, ....
fact that virtually everyone
around the world has to use our currency to buy oil is a massive advantage for us. Venezuela knows this, and so in response to new sanctions being imposed
upon them, they are hitting us where it hurts…

Venezuela Begins Publishing Oil Basket Price In Yuan

"Venezuela is going to implement a new system of international payments and will create a basket of currencies to free us from the dollar,” Yesterday Venezuela temporarily suspended the sale of U.S. dollars through its Dicom
auction system. This (and other moves) was in response to U.S. sanctions put in place by the Trump administration. Trump claims the sanctions are there to punish the country’s autocratic leaders. Maduro claims Washington’s move was
part of an “economic war”.

Suddenly, de-dollarization is a thing.

Talk about punishing autocratic leaders, Assad sat down with RT for an interview:

“Western propaganda has,
from the very beginning,
been about the cause of
the problem being the
president. Why? Because they want to portray the whole problem in Syria lies in one individual; and consequently the natural
reaction for many people is
that, if the problem lies in
one individual, that
individual should not be
more important than the entire homeland. So let
that individual go and
things will be alright. That’s how they
oversimplify things in the
West.”
...
“Notice what happened in
the Western media since
the coup in Ukraine. What
happened? President Putin was transformed from a
friend of the West to a foe and, yet again, he was
characterized as a tsar…
This is Western propaganda. They say that if the president went things will get better.”

if this really takes hold, this is serious.

lets see what happens first.
the brexit vote went through, too, and nothing happened.
The Uk is still officially in the EU. Even though article 50 was triggered to start the formal and legal process of exiting. It will take about 2yrs. In all that time, alot of stuff will have happened. let's just wait and see how things pan out.

To me this just confirms my theory that Castro, Morales, Chávez, Correa and them are geniuses

because Chávez talked about a world with multiple centers.... I am convinced that they are some sort of next-level geniuses.... because what sort of president says "I want to build a multicentered world" and then actually does it. Interesting stuff. I think that's what this is about. And that's what things are headed towards.

Basically, how you see it is going to be based on whether you want a world with multiple centers. I want a world with multiple centers.

I think that's crazy the idea that Venezuela can somehow crash the US economy. I remember when Iraq was going to destroy us with its "weapons of mass destruction". There's other countries that have oil.

chavez was a hard core socialist. not a fan of socialism, but maybe thats what the country needed. im not into wealth redistribution and press censorship, but thats what the people wanted. US had him rubbed out covertly.
evo morales-- ok, i like this guy. im shocked that the CIA hasnt rubbed him out yet. the number of times this guy has taken verbal shots at the US is amazing. ive read that he chews a LOT of coca leaves, but its better that american pedo politicians. from what ive read, he wants to genuinely help the people, but they have a LONG way to go.
correas opposition to the IMF is a good thing. IMF is there to create debt slavery for developing countries. ecuador is big enough to resist. see john perkins for more info. ecuador has a ton of US expats.
castro, despite presiding over a communist country, has very high literacy rates. cubans are very hard working people. i dont think anyone was well off monetarily, but i think no one suffered. that said, if things were so great in cuba, there wouldnt have been so many cuban refugees trying to make it to miami. i am neutral on him. pros and cons, but hes definitely not a bad guy.

its not that venezuela can crash the US economy-- its that venezuela can light the fuse to blow up the US economy by ending the petrodollar.

I agree with the fuse concept. I thought the same thing when I saw Karlysimon's post about Russia. I don't know what the result of the fuse would be.... I don't want the US economy to fall or anything like that.... but I do agree about the concept of a multicentered world and I'm one hundred percent for that... I don't think Venezuela has economic warfare being waged against it because the government is totalitarian.... if you listen to the stuff he said.... I mean I think it's clear that it's another case of Plato's Cave.... I think Chávez was right but he's just depicted badly because he was a threat to certain powerful interests

Just a reminder [I'm guessing that everyone probably knows about this on the forums], about the plan for world trading blocs - that is part of the "final" destination. In trying to find a clean and clear map of where these blocs exist ATM, I came across the following, in no particular order. And nope, I haven't read through all of it yet :)

http://nuclearsuntan.blogspot.ca/ - a collection of articles including from the UN, does include Bible commentary for those interested
[ha, the name of this site - but it does show world maps which I haven't seen before - "post-war new world" and "urban corridor"]

Thanks for this and it made me realise that the elite calculated and anticipated this move on the part of Venezuela, since all this started when the price of oil plummeted afew years back. I actually disliked Maduro alot, so i was very suprised by this decision. He came across as spineless. Then we have Treasury Secretary Mnuchin: "If China doesn’t follow these
sanctions(against North Korea), we will put
additional sanctions on them and prevent them from accessing the US and
international dollar system, and that’s quite meaningful."

So either way, those decisions still play into their end game.
Globalist Think Tank: North
American Community “Will Be Forged in the Heat of Conflict”

Bruce Stokes, Council on Foreign Relations Senior
Fellow, National Journal
columnist and Chatham
House member told the conference that a true “North American Community” would only be born out of the heat of
conflict. Stokes said, “For those of you, who like me, believe that one of the biggest challenges we face as a society is coming to terms with globalization… then we must embrace the rough spots” like illegal immigration. Stokes stated that we need to “…use these as teaching experiences… to create a public dialogue about the meaning of becoming a true North American Community.” Stokes continued, “This is
how we will create a North
American consciousness and a true North American
Community. It will be forged in the heat of conflict, not through a rational discussion, as painful as that may be. It really cannot happen any
other way.”

loved him for that :)
I have a copy of his book with Ignacio Ramonet.

I found an English version https://www.amazon.com/My-First-Life-Hugo-Chavez/dp/1784783838

I haven't read the translation but...... it's a really good book.

Because the thing that frustrates me is.... a lot of times what he's known for is making these bold, brave speeches "speaking truth to power" as people say.

And he did do that. But the thing that I think gets overlooked is.... he was very intellectual. He was very curious, very intellectual and at one point in the book he even specifically has to say that he's not a theorist. And it's true- he wasn't exactly a theoretician but it was only because he was so intellectual that he actually had to stop and say he's not a theorist. The book with Ramonet- it's a good book. He was an interesting person.
