differences between the sexes is something the left outrightly refuse to accept.
I wouldn't say that is entirely true -- they just aren't logically consistent about it. For instance, they insist that someone who is a transgender woman is really a woman just trapped in a man's body. And that they are born that way. That would imply that there is at least some difference between men and women, otherwise they wouldn't have been born feeling like a woman when they are biologically male. If it isn't biologically based, then it would be a matter of nurture rather than nature or a psychological illness -- and they don't want to open the doors to that discussion.

They apparently think that admitting there are differences means admitting that women are inferior. (And honestly, that is the whole premise of feminism -- be like a man and sleep around, "lean in" at work like a man, traditional "women's work" is undignified and worthless, etc. -- clearly they think that women should be more like men, not the other way around.) That isn't true at all, of course. Men and women just have different strengths, but each has value. They make the mistake of thinking that equal means same. Men and women do not have to be exactly the same to have equal worth in society.

And for the record, I actually consider myself to be mostly liberal (meaning that I might not approve of certain things, but I support the rights of others to make their own choices) -- though this latest push of transgender ideology -- where they claim that having a vagina doesn't automatically make you a woman has made me re-evaluate my previous support of LGBQT. Because maybe conservatives were right all along about that slippery slope. I always thought that was fear mongering and that there was no way that people would let it be taken too far. I can see now that no matter where you draw the line, there will always be someone trying to step over it and giving in incrementally -- because it doesn't seem that bad -- is like marching slowly off the edge of a cliff.

New Zealand researchers say trans athletes have an "unfair" advantage over other women and sport needs to fix binary gender categories.
The advantages trans athletes have over female competitors are considerably large and sport needs to look hard at fairness, along with their inclusion policies, Otago University Associate professor of physiology Lynley Anderson says.

Researchers claim testosterone cap won't fix trans athletes' 'unfair advantage'
Was this part of their research?

Feminism is misogyny in disguise.

It's called foot in the door technique.

About the topic of the thread; biology wins. Reality wins. Always.

How long is it going to take before this is banned?
when this is banned, everything else will begin to correct itself. i think it will be a domino effect: this sports issue will be one of the first things, then this drag queen stuff with children, etc., etc. we must be vigilant though-- we need to slam on the brakes once the pendulum is back into the middle. i would not want to see their civil rights taken away, however degenerate and amoral they are. i think we can all agree that they have a right to do what they want as long as they dont infringe upon the rest of us.

the outrage about this and hundreds of other unfair and ridiculous things going on in the world today still have not reached a critical mass to flip it. anyone who is paying any attention to the news is aware, but there are so many people that are apathetic and will never care as long as they have their diet coke and iphone.
there is also the possibility that we have reached that tipping point and the media and politicians simply refuse to address our grievances. if thats the case, then we need to get louder and make this problem so public that the MSM and politicians are forced to discuss it.

Why is that? Don’t they already prove that they want their rights to infringe on us? And, if we allow immorality, its going to affect more than just them.

some LGBTQers want to infringe on us, yes. all that needs to be done to combat this is to enforce the existing laws. its that simple.
that means they do not get any extra rights than anyone else, and free speech allows us to use whatever pronoun we want to use, damn their feelings.
the canadians need to change that law-- thats a different situation.

yes, we must allow immorality. when we have no way of opting out, then it affects us, and something must be done at that point. until then, we have freedom of choice. for example, if you are against porn, dont watch it. if you dont like homosexuals or trans people, dont associate with them. people have a right to be amoral if they want. when the law starts deciding what is and what isnt moral, we end up with a religious state. we also end up having to appoint a person or group to decide for us what is and what isnt acceptable. letting others decide this for us is dangerous and not something that belongs in a free society.
if you start dictating to others how to behave, someone else later will undoubtely have problems with yours.

I misspoke when I said if we allow, what I meant was their immorality will affect all of us too.

I know we are in agreement about how unfair this is to the other contestans but I kinda feel bad for the trans athletes because they won't be able to compete in any categories (male or female) and some of them have devoted their lives to sport. Do you all agree that they need their own category? I know it's more trouble and the public might not want to watch but it seems fair (at least better than how it is now).

Why? They are actually the opposite sex they claim to be...they can try out for the sex they are. If they don’t make that..should we have a competition for those that can’t make the olympics?

It's time like these that I'm glad I've never taken an interest to sports.

If we can have a "Special" Olympics for disabled people, why not be able to have one for dysphoric people? It IS representation, after all...

Chelsea Mitchell, of Canton High School, won the Class S 55-meter dash title on Friday night with a time of 7.18 seconds, edging Terry Millerof Bloomfield High School. Miller, a transgender athlete, finished at 7.20 seconds.
