I have a sincere question, since I'm not religious myself and I have been pondering about this question over and over again..

If there is no God, then why did they make sure more people would go the satanic way or go out of their way to make more people non religious?

Please keep it civil, since everyone is entitled to their own opinion and beliefs.

Perhaps the question hinges on who you believe "they" are? If I were a psychological profiler considering motivations, I would be interested in the commitments and backgrounds of those who I was seeking to figure out...

Religious, here. Or spiritual, depending on your take on religion.

Some people want to make people less religious for the same reason other people want to make people more religious; they believe it's the greater truth. A non-religious person might see all the horrible things done in the name of God and come to the conclusion that belief in God is dangerous... Just like a lot of religious points to the horrors of communist regimes and come to the conclusion that a lack of belief in God is dangerous.

As to becoming "more satanic", society itself is satanic and it's always been; materialism, the love of vice, etc. In some cases, it's actually disguised as a virtue. If you're wondering why there's a lot of stories about witches and magic and the like... Well, that's nothing new. Stories are stories. If you're wondering why there's fashion with occult imagery... Well, that's nothing new. Young people have always been the sort of want to shock the old; it's their way of coming on their own.

The real "Satanism" you have to watch out for is the people who call Mammon Christ.

Man is inherently a spiritual being, he will always have the desire to reach out to a Being that is higher than himself. This desire/connection is necessary to his very survival, for spiritual health has a bearing on his other aspects: physical, mental and emotional. TPTB understand this fully hence the directed efforts to promote atheism and other “paths” that aren’t beneficial to man’s overall health, all in the name of control because a sick man, whether mentally sick or physically sick, is very easy to control. While it may seem that atheism is on the rise, I think the truth is that people simply changed gods.

St Gregory of Sinai clearly states that forgetfulness of God is a disease of the soul and of the faculty of reason. It has a direct impact on human memory, which ends up divided, diffused and fragmented.

(far from irreligious) modern man simply changed his old gods and priests for new ones~ Foucault

There is this thread that I got too lazy to contribute to but while all mental illnesses aren’t rooted in spiritual deficiencies, I got to thinking that there just might be a positive correlation between the marked rise of mental illness and the burgeoning interest in the dark arts. Here’s Christopher Lee

“I have met people who to claimed to be Satanists, who claimed to be involved in black magic,”Lee continued. “I certainly haven’t been involved and I warn all of you - never, never, never –you will not only lose your mind you’ll lose your soul.”

I agree with Karly here, I saw a very interesting prophetic word that was talking specifically about this. This man saw in a vision that in the end times they will have super powerful mind control devices that are linked to the microchip or mark that they want to implant in our right hand. Only people who had a relationship with God could withstand it and not fall under that mind control.
