What does the human being race after?

I personally race after His Countenance which is most unlike anything else that i've ever encountered.

I also race after personal satisfaction or a sense of accomplishment in life without really expecting too much from anybody.

The human races after daily tea.
Maybe some itch to etch words on stones or tree barks too.

Are is plural for being.

God has many friends who are actually existing.

Can you picture a dictator?

How many pictures can anybody picture on a daily basis?

A paragraph can be lots of phrases but also a single phrase.

This world is a prison. Why run after its vanity? The pleasures of the life of this world are but delusion.

Its likeness is that of rain: when it produces vegetation it delights the tillers. But then it withers and you see it turn yellow, and then it crumbles away. In the Hereafter there is (either) grievous chastisement (or) forgiveness from Allah and (His) good pleasure. The life of this world is nothing but delusion.

Everything being a reflection, howsoever infinitesimal, of His Majesty and Grandeur, one certainly looks forward to The Designer of it all.

Beautiful women for example were less than an atom in size before they were delivered into the world after 9 months.

That beauty is a reflection of His Beauty just the same as the rainbow is a reflection of His Outstanding Creativity and Perfection.

Same goes for the smallest atom and revolving electrons which just looks so awesome. One cannot not, thereafter reflecting upon the magnitude of His Incessant Creativity, fall in love with The Reason of every other reason's existence.

Or, you can look at this dog-eat-dog world and wonder what was God thinking??? God is as terrible as he is wonderful. Or, maybe he's just indifferent and impersonal.
