I still say we're in the early stages of the Orwellian NWO. We aren't even close to the levels of control and dominance possible. The state of techno-tyranny is only in it's infancy. With how quickly technology is supplanting our freedoms I can't even imagine 20 years down the road.
thats why is SO critical that we, at a bare minimum, maintain our freedom of speech. for americans, its critical to maintain our 2nd amendment (right to bear arms). when this fails, i will expect a huge uptick in the growing police state.
i expect the definition of "conspiracy theorists" to soon encompass ANY political dissent. the right is throwing out the term "conspiracy theory" when rebutting the lefts accusation of the russian collusion. at some point in the future, the NWO can blend this term with political dissent and group it in with domestic terrorism. its not hard to do if the belief can be associated with treason against the government. they can call it "spreading disinformation to undermine the US government".
